Abstract

Indonesia is country with rich culture. Since October 2nd 2009 batik has been officially recognized by UNESCO as Indonesia’s authentic cultural heritage. In addition to its unique patterns, batik has a deep philosophical significance. However there is no application that can introduce many kinds of batik to the society. This application is expected to address that issue.This application uses gray-level cooccurrence matrix to extract texture features from an image of batik. The texture features extracted from a number of batik images create a dataset which can be used to create a decision tree. The decision made by the decision tree is the isen presented in batik image.Test results of batik tulis recognition is maximum accuracy of 47.62%, which is considered low. The reason for that is supposedly the lack of texture patterns in batik tulis.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a wealth of diverse cultures spread from Sabang to Merauke. Although the government has included a lesson about Indonesian culture in subjects Art and Culture, but there are still a lot of the general public as well as students who do not know the form and name of the tribe, traditional houses, traditional clothing, folk songs, traditional foods, local weapons, and musical instruments regions in Indonesia.Therefore, a learning application was created that utilizes mobile learning technology. By using mobile learning then the user can access learning content without being tied to space and time so that it can be accessed at any time with interesting illustration. Budaya Bangsa Kita Application is made useful to help users in learning the introduction of Indonesian culture that provides the knowledge with illustrations in the form of images, audio, text and video. This application also can to learn, answer quiz, view a gallery of images and video and a puzzle game. The result is an application that can provide knowledge to the user so as to know the culture in Indonesia through the illustrations provided.

Abstract

Laundry Service often used by people who have a lot of activity and a lack of time to do housework, specially in the case of washing clothes. Most use the services of a maid. The problem that comes is the consumer who has ordered the items can not know what they are in the process. So if you want to question the status of the items, they will call or SMS. Therefore, the research made by using the application.With applications installed in the gadget on the Android operating system, this application Service can be accessed more practical and very easy to use, as well as other benefits can save time and costs. Application laundry, is a system-based information with mobile devices designed with HTML5 and assisted compilation by Phonegap. While the admin application using PHP and powered by Google Map. Making his system admin using Notepad ++ tools and implemented in the Chrome Browser. While the courier has applications also can see the list between the items and the list of customer orders. This application using HTML and then be converted to apk.As a result of this implementation can generate an application website for admins to update the data item, the consumer receives a request, view transaction details from consumers and financial reports. Meanwhile, the consumer can place an order by courier, see all the details of existing services. Of the courier can do note consumer goods to be washed.

Abstract

The search process for domestic services have tended to be difficult because of the lack of centralized information media. The process of offering services performed by service providers is also difficult because of the absence of promotional media that can be accessed by service customers. Based on these requirements, crowdsource application was made for the services of domestic workers that can be a source of information as well as to help connecting service customers with service providers. Crowdsource application for the services of domestic workers is designed into a Service Provider Application, a Service Customer Application, and a Registration and Administrator Website. Registration Website is used to allow users to enroll as a provider. The website also serves for the administrator to accept or reject registration and to activate or deactivate an account. Service Provider Application and Service Customer Application function to communicate with each other in order to reach an agreement of supply and demand services. The results show that the Service Provider Application and Service Customer Application can provide the necessary information and help users communicate, negotiate, and reach an agreement. Review and report violations feature helps to evaluate every element in the application, both service providers, service customers, demand, and supply.

Abstract

Tutor assistant is a term for students who serve new students in small groups, in a coaching program for new students known as Ethics Enrichment. Currently, every support tools that have been used by tutor assistants were printed. In comparison with the number of tutor assistants, the printing of support tools is a waste and not really practical, especially when compared to the advancement of technologies which actually can ease the service of tutor assistants.Web application was made with the purpose of helping tutor assistant service by providing a system that can be accessed across devices and can fulfill the needs of tutor assistants while doing their services. Some features in web application include material access, grade assignment, online attendance form and interactions with new students via sharing or meeting agreement form. Web application also use JSON Web Token to provide login service and email notifications if any content addition occur in web application.After doing some testing, it can be concluded that web application can be accessed nicely across devices. Survey also shows that web application answers the needs in providing a system that support the service of tutor assistants in Petra Christian University, with 59% of respondents agree that the web application is useful and 53% of respondents agree that web application as a whole has been good.

Abstract

In this paper, we describe the formatting guidelines for ACM SIG Proceedings.  Communication is a process or a way to deliver a message from one person to another to achieve a certain goal. But often communications between individuals or groups are limited by differences of languages. Languages differences make it hard for people to convey an urge, convey intentions and goals. Until now, the world’s progress on technology has not given the way to bridge this issue as its main goal.With the development of scientific study of technology  that explore languages and communication, it is possible that differences in languages will not become an obstacle for people to communicate with one another. To solve this problem, an application is made to act as a translator between 2 person’s conversations. This application uses Android Studio and Java as its language.After the system testing is done, it could be concluded that the application is an effective tool to help user to get better understanding despite the language differences.

Abstract

So that the aim of this research is to testing how good is UCB1 method when implemented into the main method that the game works.The test will test the UCB1 method work as the movement of enemy diffilcuty level. But with some rules that make this method become more flexible to use. So the enemy diffilcuty will adapt to player diffilcuties.The result of this research is the UCB1 method can be use to enemy diffilcuty level movement. This method can make the enemy become more adapt to the player.

Abstract

At this time, certainly no stranger to hear their child abuse, whether it be physical, sexual or physikologi. All of it is a form of child abuse that is not supposed to happen. Things that interfere with the development of each child tiap-, both mentally and physically. Increasingly horrific atrocities committed by the offender against children.Limitations of the reporting media, time constraints, many thought, also became one of only constraint in reporting child abuse. Surabaya, advanced city is also child abuse often occur, even not infrequently victims are reluctant to report it to the authorities. Child Protection Agency in Surabaya East Java which is not at all know it is located and how to report it, so that a lack of success in handling child abuse cases in East Java.Therefore made a media complaints or reporting child abuse based website, which can be done online and does not take long to transmit evidence of child abuse. Males motion constraints, did not have much time, transport constraints, constraints difficulty of reporting. Even for those who do not understand the Child Protection Agency in East Java was able to understand and easy to report child abuse.From the test results, this application can help users to understand the importance of reporting child abuse to Child Protection Institution of East Java, fostering good relationships with the Parent, increase knowledge of child abuse and help users to do counseling with Child Protection Institution of East Java.

Abstract

Currently, vehicles has become important for human life to go from one place to another place. Now there is a tool called Car DVR which is a tool for recording events during the trip in video form, but Car DVR which has a feature to record location data and good video result is relatively expensive.Therefore, in this thesis made an Android application that has functions such as Car DVR but equipped with GPS and live streaming. With this application user can record video complete with location data and map. This application also can be used to share traveling experiences to anyone else through the live video streaming along with the location data in real-time.The test results showed that this application is able to record videos with location data and map nicely. The accuracy of location data and map is affected by the quality of internal GPS Android. Live streaming feature requires a stable internet connection and upload speeds above 1 Mbps to get good result.

Abstract

Instant Messaging named Telegram that was launched back in August 2013 became one of the IM apps that is widely used by the people around the world. One of the features that Telegram offers is its platform of its Application Programming Interface (API). One of the APIs being the Bot API is one of the majorly used features. One of the advantages of having a Bot is its reliability to deliver data to its users since it always operates without the limit of time. Nowadays movie show times are one of the necessities, being it accessible thru the web or an app is a bit of a hassle, hence this bot is developed to reduce the effort needed to get the movie show times. All the user need to do is to send a command and the bot will reply with the necessary information. All of this is made possible by using the programming language of Hypertext preprocessor (PHP).
