Abstract

Retail store needs to evolve especially in digital age where ecommercebecoming more and more common and most peopleprefer the convenience of an e-commerce. One of the biggestadvantage of a “newer” e-commerce is they build they’rebusiness model on the foundation of processing data, whereasolder retail store doesn’t. Development of data mining andmachine learning are pushing older business model to do better.This journal represents the possibilities of using subgroupdiscovery as a method of analyzing transactional data. Subgroupdiscovery is a data mining technique which extracts interestingrule. APRIORI-SD is a method within subgroup discovery whereevaluation measure use by APRIORI-SD already prioritizingunusualness distribution of a given data.The result of this knowledge are able to find anomalies such asdifferentiating subgroup(s) with differences up to 50% comparedto overall distribution percentage. With the result people areable to create a better strategies in the future.

Abstract

Increasingly advanced technological developments have caused many demands on the client-server to carry out their duties. Existing server capabilities of access that comes from the client. The ability of the server to exceed the limit will experience overload so that many of the adverse effects that will be caused include a decrease in the speed of access even causing a server down.This study tries to propose a solution by providing an additional access point on the server that is using containerization technology on Kubernetes. Where the container is the access point for the client to the server. This containerazitation technology is implemented by utilizing scalability. Scalability in the container will adjust to the needs of the client and server.With container technology, access to the server can be done by adding a container for the access point if it is felt full and will resuce the container if the number of accessing clinets decreases. This will minimize the server overload so that the client can access the server without difficulty due to the lack of access points.

Abstract

Travel sites in Indonesia offer varied flight ticket prices. So, to find a cheap price becomes difficult, consumers must open every site or application from a travel site to compare the ticket price each site offered. This takes a lot of time, and sometime when you find the right price and want to order it, the ticket sold out. Therefore, an application is needed to search and compare prices from each travel sites. Application was made to do the comparison of price that each travel sites offered. To do a comparison, a server is needed to retrieve each price and details of flights on each travel site. After that, the process continue to processing all data and displayed it to the application.Based on the result of test that been done on program, program managed to collecting, processing, and showing price as well as flight information from travel sites.

Abstract

The license plate recognition system is one of the techniques of licence plate data handling through the use of image processing. This research is divided into two parts, namely the methods of training and the license plate recognition using SVM classification. The early image processing involves the preprocessing stage continued by locating the license plate and segmenting every character on it. The segmented characters will be processed further with SVM. Test results show a success where the accuracy rate of the plate recognition reaches 79.64%.

Abstract

Money is a tool for transactions. The growing of technology make payment methods is also more varied, for example with e-money. However, even there are methods like this, administrative Petra Christian University activities still use manual system so that make less practical. When e-money going to applied, there is a security aspect that must be considered. One of them is how to secure the balance that is on the card so that the balance cannot be duplicated.To make e-money payment on administrative Petra Christian University there will be make payment system with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) with money in the card. There are 3 methods, AES, DES, 3DES with CBC and CFB mode in comparison of the speed encryption decryption, memory usage, and anti-duplication on the card. Besides there will be comparison of speed when doing top up/withdrawl balance/transaction when money stored in card and money stored in database.The test results found that there anti-duplication method successfully applied, encryption decrytion speed AES, DES, 3DES mode CBC more faster than CFB and memory usage same with all of method. Money in database have a faster process in top up/withdrawl balance while DES with CBC mode more faster in transaction.
