Abstract

The objective of research is to describe the attitude and behavior of the officer in the implementationof the local revenue and expense budget in Butas Regency. This implementation of the local revenueand expense budget begins from the setting of this budget in KUA and PPAS because both agencies areacting as the base organizations in driving the wheel of local government. Research method is qualitativewith grounded theory approach. This theory involves systematic procedures such as analysis and discussion.Result of research is subjected to the data categorization based on three stages, (1) open coding, (2)axial coding, and (3) selective coding. These three categories will show up other name representing theprevious data category name but principally may not eliminate the significance of data in the previousname. Result of research indicates some attitudes and behaviors of the officer in the implementation of thelocal revenue and expense budget (APBD). These attitudes are related to the behavior shown amonggovernmental officers, in which passive and active attitudes are estimated. Both attitudes produce submissive, compliance and obedient behaviors in the implementation of the local revenue and expense budget.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between competitive strategy andorganisational performance and to determine the applicability of Porter's generic strategies in explainingits different effects to the organisational performance. There are three independent variables analyzed inthis study: differentiation strategy, cost leadership and integrated strategy, while the dependent variable isthe performance of the organization which is a subjective measure of objective's fulfillment and relativecompetitive performance. The data has been collected then analyzed using linear multiple regressionanalysis. The results of this study indicates that the application of a generic strategy has an importantinfluence on the bank's performance, while the selection of differentiation strategy has a better impact onthe bank's performance in comparison with the cost leadership and integrated strategies.

Abstract

The bank conditions in Indonesia after the financial crisis pushed the parties involved to conductan assessment of the performance of the bank. Financial ratio analysis can help businesses, governmentsand other users of financial statements in assessing the financial condition and the bank performance. Thepurpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan(NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operating Expenses to Operating Income, and Loan Deposit Ratio(LDR) on the bank performance is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). The object of research is 10 (ten)largest banks in Indonesia in assets listed on the Bank Indonesia for the period 2007-2011. The method ofanalysis used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the variables NPL, NIM and ROAsignificant effect on ROA, while the variable CAR and LDR insignificant effect on ROA. It is clear that thebanking system at the time had good profitability, the quality of productive assets (NPL) are well preserved,NIM is quite high, the level of efficiency (ROA) is good, disbursement of funds in the form of loans not yeteffective LDR has no significant effect on ROA. The commercial banks at that time did not make optimal useof the whole potential capital, but because of the level of capital adequacy can be said to be high, then theCAR insignificant effect on ROA.

Research limitations: that the study is limited to the threeindependent variables, namely communication, motivation and job satisfaction, employees are afraid tosay the truth that they experience in the field, the respondent is limited to strata equitable education(elementary, junior high and high school). Originality/value: Testing a direct influence on the performanceof communication, the value of beta coefficient standardized the value 0.923 (positive) so it can be concludedthat the communication variables significantly influence the performance variables. Testing theindirect effect of communication on performance through motivation, obtained the data processing standardbeta coefficient on the value of 0.916 (positive) so it can be concluded that communication indirecteffect on performance through motivation. Testing the indirect effect of communication on performancethrough job satisfaction, obtained the data processing standard beta coefficient on the value of 0.918(positive) so it can be concluded that communication indirect effect on performance through job satisfaction.

The approach used in this research was quantitative research, and theresearch model was survey by using questionnaires as the instrument. The approach used in determiningselected sample for this research was based on Slovin which resulted in 110 samples. The determination ofsample unit was done using simple random sampling technique through drawing the lots of sample elements(through lottery). The analysis model applied was path analysis. The research findings proof thatworking condition has direct and significant influence on the working satisfaction. Also, the improvementof working condition has direct and significant influence on the performance of outsourcing employeesMoreover, working satisfaction influences directly and significantly the performance of outsourcing employees. Finally, working satisfaction serves as the mediator between working condition and performanceimprovement, but it is not a dominant factor in the influence of working condition on the performance ofoutsourcing employees.

Test used for the study variables usingValidity, reliability testing and test classical assumption is normality test, multicollinearity andheterocedastisity.Hypothesis test using linear regression analysis. Based on the research above it can beargued that the quality variable and the trust variables together influence the decision of parents inchoosing a school. However, based on research partially, school quality variables do not significantlyinfluence the decisions of parents in choosing schools. Abstract

The research aims to analyze the feasibility of the location by considering some criteria such ascost, location and risk from the land purchase project to choose the optimum location for manufacturingfacilities, warehouses, and a research and development that can support the growth of company up to 10years. Object of the research is determining the location of the factory in an industrial park close to thecenter of the automotive industry using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and sensitivity analysis. From internal analysis determined three criteria: 1) location, 2) Costs and 3) Risk. An additional 9subcriteria-1 and 35subcriteria-2 are used to make a clear judgment for respondents. After going throughthe initial land selection process then selected nine alternative plant sites in industrial park. From theanalysis using the AHP Expert Choice software found that the Location criteria has a major effect on thedecision making factor compare with Cost and Risk criteria, At the end from the 9 sites listed, AHP selectedthree most important alternative locations. However, after the sensitivity analysis conducted, the sequencesfrom the top 3 location are changed due to the sensitivity of the weighting cost criteria.
