Abstract

Background: Gout Arthritis is an inflammatory disease in the joints that causes extreme pain, swelling, sometimes redness and is difficult to move and if it lasts for a long time it can cause deformity in the affected joint. Objective: To determine the relationship between diet and gout arthritis. The design used is correlation. Method: This type of research is analytic descriptive research with cross-sectional approach. the location of the study was in Kotabunan Village, Kotabunan Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Timur Regency from July 21 to July 23, 2018. The sampling technique used a total sample with 49 respondents. The instrument uses a food recall questionnaire 2 x 24 hours. Results: Statistical test with chi-square with significance level (α) 0.05. Correlation test results obtained ρ = 0.002. The conclusion : This study is that there is a relationship between diet and the incidence of gout arthritis, where the more often the consumption of high purine content, the higher the value of uric acid levels. Suggestion: People can maintain their diet well considering there are still many people who do not maintain their diet so that it results in increased levels of uric acid in the blood.

Abstract

Background Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the major health problems. in the world. The number of DM cases in North Sulawesi Province in 2016 increased with the number of 4.525 in 2015 to 5.261 patients in 2016, 60% of these patients had diabetic wounds. (Ministry of Health, 2016). The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge about wound prevention with the incidence of diabetic wounds. Methods This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The research sample of 50 respondents was a Family of DM patients who seek treatment in the Internal Medicine Room of the Pancaran Kasih GMIM Hospital Manado. Results showed that most respondents lack knowledge with 33 respondents (66%) and were identified with the incidence of diabetic injuries. Test results show the relationship between patient knowledge about DM Wound Prevention with the incidence of DM Wound is p-value = 0,000 (α = 0.05). Conclusion there is a significant relationship between patient knowledge about DM Wound Prevention with the incidence of DM Wound. This findings Suggestions for health workers caring for DM patients, in order to improve education about wound care with a variety of educational methods.

Abstract

Background: Abortion provocateurs criminalis is an abortion that occurs due to actions that are not legal or not based on medical indications. The incidence of abortion in Indonesia according to the BKKBN every year there is an increase of about 15% and of that number 800,000 of them are carried out by young women who are still sitting in school. Data found in SMK Cokroaminoto, Manado City, 5 female students who dropped out of school due to pregnancy out of wedlock and 2 of them took shortcuts by aborting provocateurs criminals. Objective: This study is to determine the effect of health education on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls about abortion provocateurs criminals. Method: The research design used was a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest method in which the design features were not compared to a control group. The study population was female teenagers grade X and XI at SMK Cokroaminoto Manado, amounting to 49 people. The sampling technique used was Total Sampling, as many as 31 people. Results: Analysis with the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The test results have a significant effect on health education about abortion provocateurs criminal on the level of knowledge of young women (α ≤ 0.05 ie p-value = 0,000). Conclusion: Health education about abortion provocatus criminals increases the knowledge of young women. Suggestions are expected that young women can increase awareness to prevent abortion of provocateurs criminalis.

Abstract

Background: Game online is played by more than one player (multiplayer) simultaneously, anywhere and anytime using a laptop, computer or smartphone that is supported by an internet connection. Too often playing online games has an effect on personality because it tends to absorb and mimic everything that is seen so that it triggers aggressive behavior that can unwittingly kill the character of others, because swearing, harsh words, insults, and ridicule makes someone very hurt and the consequences will painful and settled in someone's memory. Aims: of this research study is to find out whether there is a relationship between the intensity of playing violent online games and the aggressive behavior of students. Methods and Result: The study design used correlation analytic with a cross-sectional approach on 32 respondents who were determined by purposive sampling. Data collection questionnaire aggressive behavior and intensity of playing online games. The test used Chi-square (x2) statistics. The results showed the intensity of playing online games with the most violence at a moderate level, namely 18 students (56.3%), with moderate aggressive behavior of 20 students (62.5%). Conclusion of the research conducted at class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Tumpaan is that there is a very significant relationship on the intensity of playing violent online games with aggressive behavior of students with the statistical test results p-value = 0.002 which is smaller than α = 0.05. Suggestions that students use free time by doing more useful things to avoid aggressive behavior and health problems caused by playing violent online games with a long time intensity.

Abstract

Background: Knowledge of reproductive health for adolescents is very important. Based on the nursing problems at the Cokroaminoto Manado Vocational School found in interviews with 5 female students, it shows that female students do not yet know about problems that often occur in reproductive health such as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and how to maintain healthy hygiene reproduction. Objective: This study was to determine the relationship of knowledge with adolescent attitudes about reproductive health at SMK Cokroaminoto Manado. Method: This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional approach using a total sample technique to obtain 30 female teenage respondents at the time of the study. The statistical technique used is the Chi-square test with significance value ≤0.05. Measuring instruments used are knowledge and attitude questionnaires. Results: The test results obtained by the Pearson Chi-square test obtained value x ² = 15,200 with p (asmp.sig) = 0.001 <0.05 means significant, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and adolescent attitudes about reproductive health at SMK Cokroaminoto Manado. Suggestions for young women to seek more information about reproductive health so that the knowledge of adolescent girls increases.
