The tourism industry is an industry that can absorb many creative economic markets. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the creative economic activities as added value that support the tourism industry. The creative economy analyzed here is the creative fashion economy, which is one of the supporters in providing direct income and advertising as a downstream chain of tourism to convey messages to consumers. Method used qualitative and quantitative by looking for regression between income and costs and based on questionnaires conducted on consumers. The results showed a relationship between costs of advertising incurred with income derived from visitor. In a qualitative analysis in the fashion subsector, fashion can contribute a value of 10-12% to revenue. To accelerate in this industry is by knowing the various sub-sectors that are part of the tourism industry value chain and increasing creativity and innovation of creative economic products (fashion and advertising).

Abstract

Bali has fairly well-known for its cultural woven fabrics such as tenun cepuk woven fabric of Tanglad Village, Nusa Penida, Klungkung District. The study assess the potential of cepuk as well as determines strategies and programs that can be applied to develop it as a means of supporting cultural tourism. This study is using a qualitative descriptive approach to measure the variables, and SWOT matrix to explain the data in the formulation of strategies and programs. From the data processing, four strategies can be formulated. Those strategies can be used to increase the welfare of the people of Nusa Penida especially Tanglad Village and also develop a sustainable cultural tourism. The research is expected to be used as a reference in making policies by the government to develop tourism in Nusa Penida as well as for the community to be able to develop the potential of the Cepuk woven fabric.

Abstract

Study tour is a school program that aims to learn the latest phenomenon of a visited tourism destination. This activity provides students with immediate experience related to situation of tourism attraction not obtainable at school. This study analyzes about the level of student motivation and motivation factors of students of SMK Negeri 4 Denpasar to follow a study tour to Java. The data obtained through lling out a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using con rmatory factor analysis. The results shows that the students motivation level following a study tour is very high and there are four factors of student motivation to follow the study tour namely physical, cultural, social, and fantasy motivation. The dominant factor that in uenced the student to take part in the study tour is the cultural motivation factor. Based on the analysis, all the variable can explain four factors which motivate students of SMK 4 Denpasar to take part in the study tour to Java.
