Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the use of traditional games which were integrated with English teaching learning at primary school level. Descriptive qualitative was used in this research through interview, observation, documentation and questionnaire. The finding showed that 85% of students love this teaching model. Due to the implementation of traditional games in teaching learning process, students easily remembered the vocabulary given whether in spoken and written forms. The games given were kelereng (marbels), ular naga, congklak and engklek. Students did not find any difficulties in doing the games because all students were familiar with them as their daily games. In addition, the students improved their language function and they were not shy to use simple English conversation and instructions. The vocabularies given were based on their daily life such as name of the day, name of the month, shapes, colors, animals and so on. Students were motivated and enthusiastic in learning English vocabulary. As conclusion, modified traditional games are useful for primary school level in teaching vocabulary

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of receivable turnover, working capital turnover and debt ratio on current ratio in mining company. The population in this study are 39 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2011 until 2014. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling which covers 14 companies. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that receivable turnover and working capital turnover does not affect the current ratio. Meanwhile, debt ratio has significantly influenced a company's current ratio. This proves that with high debt ratio, the creditors still trust the Indonesian mining companies to expand their business scale as well as increase production capacity and sales volume of mining products so as to provide additional revenue. Thus, the current ratio of the company will decrease.

Abstract

The Promotional and User Education activities are methods which have been implemented in library context. These methods can be applied by using a video. The video that will be shared on social media is dedicated to all users of Library of Ma Chung University.The media that have been selected to share this video are Youtube and Gmail which is connected to all of social media to spread the video to all users of Library of Ma Chung University. This video explains how to use sphisticated facility in this digital era which is supported with the incredilble information development. The Utilization of this online video can increase the number of guests in library and make the facilites usage more effective so the library can operate well based on its function.

Abstract

Many modern learning media that is up to date nowadays, one of them is online learning media. Online learning media is a learning medium which is practical without needing face to face method and the user need to choose the material topic that they want to learn and must follow the curriculum step by step. Unfortunately, it is less interested by Indonesian citizen because there is no produsen who provides this medium. So that, kerja.id comes up with solution for them who want to excell their grade and want to learn simply. One of the main topics in kerja.id is “Memory and Study Skill”. This article is important topic to be discuused for youth people especially for students or they who want to prepare in applying job and worker who want to upgrade their quality of work. Due to many jobless people and the decreasing number of good quality students, this article is the best solution to increase nation students learning quality and decrease the number of jobless in this country. The translating result of this article can make the readers especially students easily to understand the material about how to be succes student with a new easy way and guaranteed result. This article also completed by steps to achieve the goal that they want.

Abstract

Accounting practices is the solution of the problems that often occur in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), namely financial management problems. Accounting is used as a standard to facilitate SMEs in making the financial statements that can be accounted for and understood by the external and internal parties. Accounting practices should have been known or even practiced by SMEs. The purpose of this study is then to know and what kind of accounting practices are done by SMEs and to analyze compliance with the Principles of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK). This type of research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The data are obtained from interviews and observations. Informants in this study are 5 people consisting of 3 owners and 2 operational managers of SMEs in Pandanwangi. The results reveal that the financial statements of SMEs are still modest which is done by recording transactions that often occur in the business and PSAK are still not understood by SMEs. This eventually has been affected by insufficient educational background and lack of socialization or training from the government or agencies that are in charge of SMEs activities. As a result, the importance of PSAK still cannot be understood well. Regarding this, SMEs are expected to apply financial statements based on PSAK later.
