Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze financial ratios and the implementation of discriminant analysis in predicting bangkruptcy on coal companies on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2009 to 2013. The method of analysis is Multivariate Discriminant Analysis (MDA) with Simultaneous Estimation method. The research is deskriptif and uses purposive random sampling to determine seven companies. the results reveals that five financial ratios as independent variables have significant value of < 0.05, which means that all variables can be used to predict whether the company is bankrupt or not. The Z-score estimation of coal companies In Indonesia Stock Exchange indicates that four companies are bangkrupt and the other three companies are not bankrupt.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a development strategy of tourism management of Saluopa Water Fall in Poso. This research was conducted in the village of Wera Pamona Puselemba in Poso Regency. The data were collected through direct interview with the key informants and observations. The data is then analyzed by SWOT analysis. The results show that the highest of strenght factor is the object of the waterfall itself with a score of 0.7. While, the potential of natural resources of flora and fauna have not been optimally utilized with a score of 0.696667. It is categorised as the highest of weakness factor. In addition, the waterfall is located close to the cocoa plantations so that it is an opportunity for developing agro-tourism package and it may employee the local people. The score for this opportunity is 0.926829. However, the security issue is the highest threat of Wera Saluopa waterfall management. The reason for this is that the area has still been affected by the trauma of social conflict with a score of 0.893023. The results of SWOT analysis strategy show that the development of Wera Saluopa management is a strategy that supports the aggressive growth. Therefore, the potential attractions around the waterfall area and the utilization of cacao plantations should be maintained and preserved because the area can developed as agro-tourism package and has conomic value added for local communities.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the extent to which the implementation of Smoking Area policy that is implemented within the General Hospital Undata, Central Sulawesi. Non-smoking Area is a place where people are not allowed to smoke in the area, including the public areas, educational facilities, health care facilities, transportation places, children's playground, worship place and workplace. This research uses a qualitative research method and technique of sampling is conducted using purposive sampling with eight informants. The main informant is the director of Regional General Hospital Undata, a specialist, a health worker and five visitors. The results show that the implementation of Smoking Area policy in Regional General Hospital Undata of Central Sulawesi has not run well yet because there are some visitors who smoke in the hospital environment, it is due to the lack of "smoking area" building which is the main facility in the application of non-smoking Area. In addition, due to lack of implementer firmness in conducting the policy, by the lack of sanctions firmness, then it cannot provide a deterrent effect against violators of the rules which makes the implementation of these policies is considered not going well.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and study the Policy Implementation Incentives Lauk Pauk at the University Tadulako. The research method is qualitative research, with informants of 9 (nine), informants were selected based on purposive. Collecting data in this study begins with the observation (observation), interviews, and documentation. The results of the study explained that, Policy Implementation Incentives Lauk Pauk at the University Tadulako not going well "because of the four dimensional researched field, there are three dimensions that are not going well, that" (1) The communication has not done well, where socialization policy of the Ministry of Finance No. 110/PMK.05/2010 on Procedures for Granting and Payment of Eating for civil servants have not been socialized to lecturers and university officials Tadulako, as a result of the policy is not well understood by lecturers and officials, especially the dilution mechanism, (2) desposisi aspect has not gone well, because the use of the software manual is an absolute requirement for dilution, but attendance can be engineered true, the University has not yet estimate Tadulako back absent digital fingerprint attendance list. (3) The structure of the bureaucracy is not going well, because the Standard Operating Procesures (SOP) on implementation Tadulako money eating yet, consequently frequent delays in the disbursement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the unit cost of action appendectomy in hospital operating rooms Madani area of ​​Central Sulawesi Province by calculating the cost of direct and indirect damages. This research is a descriptive operational research and analysis using secondary data Hospitals in 2014 at the Regional Hospital Madani Central Sulawesi province. Method of calculating the cost of using the ABC method (Activity Based Costing) and simple distribution. ABC method for allocating direct costs by calculating the cost of activities that occur using cost driver based time activities. Simple distribution method for allocating indirect costs distribution costs from support units to units of production (operating room). The results showed appendectomy actual unit cost of Rp. 2,376,419, and the normative unit cost of Rp. 2,347,847, -. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of a customer perspective, financial perspective, internal business perspective and learning and growth perspective. Respondents in this study for the customer's perspective is the patient or family as much as 97 people and for internal business perspective and learning and growth perspective is the Regional Hospital Madani employees 82 people, the sampling technique used is proportional random sampling method. Methods of data analysis in this research is to use the financial perspective by using financial ratio analysis, and for the customer perspective, internal business process and learning and growth perspective using frequency distribution data analysis. Results of performance measurement balanced scorecard at the Regional Hospital overall Madani reached a score of 0.8. The rating scale is based on the Regional Hospital Madani included in both categories despite the performance of each perspective is not maximized. Results of this study demonstrate and encourage the use of the balanced scorecard measurement of the organization with each organization to provide an overview of an organization's performance is more complete and kompherensif.

Abstract

The purposes of this study as follow: firstly, to determine the contribution of export commodities regional economic growth in Central Sulawesi; secondly, to determine the contribution of Central Sulawesi total exports to the economic growth of Central Sulawesi; thirdly, to determine the magnitude of the leading commodity exports of Central Sulawesi to the total exports of Central Sulawesi; lastly, to determine the effect of commodity exports on the regional economic growth of Central Sulawesi. This study apply RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) analysis to identify the main commodity. Then, this study is purposed to answer the contribution of main export commodity to economic growth by using contributions analysis, and this study is also conducted to identify the impact of exports on economic growth by usingthe simple regression.  The result shows that the leading commodity has a substantial contribution to economic growth in which the largest contribution of cocoa with 14.7 per cent in 2010. The total contribution of Central Sulawesi export on regional economic growth in the period 2002-2013 was lower compare to the period 2010. The economic growth in the period 2002-2003 shows that the value was fluctuated with the average contribution of 10.4 per cent. Meanwhile, the largest contribution was occurred in 2009 with 18.49 percent. This study found that cocoa is the leading commodity with the range of contribution between 11,3- 94,2 per cent in the period 2002-2013. Furthermore, simple regression shows that the Central Sulawesi commodity exports (independent variable) has positive correlation, but not significant, to         the dependent  variable swith  1,964.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the implementation of Seeds Subsidy Grant Program in Increasing of Paddy Productivity in Torue Sub-district. Parigi Moutong Regency. The research employs descriptive qualitative method with data collection covering observation. There are 6 informants as the sample who selected through purposive sampling. The research result indicates that the implementation of seeds Subsidy6 Grant Program in increasing of Paddy Productivity in Torue Sub-district, Parigi Moutong Regency with model evaluation approach by Bardach namely efficiency and effectiveness of policy not optimal yet. There are some factors influencing, sush as: 1). From technical feasibility, the lateness in distributing and seeds volume given in not appropriate 2). From economy factor it has increased productivity but still not significant felt by farmers, 3). From political aspect, have not been implemented optimally from the aspect of socialization and coaching, and supervision, 4). From administration operation, the operators of program have got commitment and ability organizationally

Abstract

This research aims at finding out how the quality of interference license service at Integrated Licensing Service Agency, Palu. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The techniques of the data collection were observations, interviews, documentations, and triangulation. The informants were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used in this research is a model of Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The theory used is the theory of Zethmal, Parasuraman and Berry, which consists of 5 (five) dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy assurance. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the quality of Interference License Service / HO on Integrated Licensing Service Agency Palu, is not maximum. First; tangibles dimension, the infrastructure is inadequate as lacking the breadth of the lounge and the available seats are not in accordance with the number of applicants, as well as the number of public toilets which are inadequate. But in terms of the officers’ appearance and neatness, it is categorized as good. Second; reliability dimension, the ability of the officers in using tools is very good, but the service provided do not fully refer to the operational procedure standard. Third; responsiveness dimension, the response of the officers in receiving applicants’ complaint has been very good, but the speed in completing the issuance of licenses is not maximal. Fourth; assurance dimension, the guarantee given by the officers to the applicants has not been on time. But the license fee has been imposed in accordance with applicable regulations. Fifth; empathy dimension, the service provided is not discriminatory and service providing is always polite and friendly. Thus, of the five dimensions of service quality above, there are still some sub dimensions that need to be fixed, so that the quality of the services provided can be maximized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors and formulate alternative strategies for the development of coastal tourism Lake Poso. This study is categorised as qualitative descriptive study, with direct observation, interviews and documentation. Snow ball sampling technique is applied in order to obtain the key respondents. There were nine people agreed as the key respondents and SWOT is used to analyse the strategic planning.  SWOT analysis has several phases as follow: (1) identify the key internal and external factors; (2) determining Factor External Strategies (EFAS) and Internal Strategy Factors (IFAS); (3) Determination of weight to the factors of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats; (4) determining the strategy through SWOT matrix  The results show that the value of the power factor is 3.8846, and the weakness factor is 3.4954, the opportunity factor is 3.30625 and threats factor is 3.06733. The potential for the development of Lake Poso coastal tourism Lake Poso is located in quadrant I with the strategy SO (Strength and Opportunities). It is optimize the strength to take advantage of opportunities. Meanwhile, the alternative strategies can be offered as follow: building Partnerships and cooperation by utilizing local natural resources eel fish, increasing the main attraction on each undeveloped tourist potential site by adding tourist attractions, and dividing the zone of the development of the coastal tourist area. As a result it is acknowledged that the role of region as developing coastal tourism area.
