Abstract

This study is aims: 1) to seek and analyze the influence of Integrated Marketing Communication on corporate image of P.T. Hadji Kalla, Branch of Palu and 2) to seek and analyze the influence of corporate image on customer satisfaction in buying cars in P.T. Hadji Kalla, Branch of Palu. The research method is causal-descriptive. Population of the study consists of people who bought cars from P.T. Hadji Kalla, Branch of Palu and 180 people selected as samples throught probability sampling with systematic sampling. Method of analysis is quantitative descriptive and the analisis tool is Structure Equation Modeling (SEM). the results show that; 1) Integrated Marketing Communication positive and significant influence on P.T. Hadji Kalla’s image; 2) corporate image positive and significant influence on customer’s satisfaction in buying cars in P.T. Hadji Kalla, branch of Palu.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the development of the capacity of members of the police capability. This research uses descriptive qualitative, measure capacity-building capability of using opinion of Michael McGuire et.al, (in Harsono (2006) consists of: the development of the ability level of the individual, the development level of the organization, and the development level of the system. The data collected through observation, interview and documentation, analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion, concluded that the development of capacity undertaken at the individual level, the application is not maximized. Resources organizers of the training do not yet have the capacity that is required according to the needs and academic requirements. Development of capacity at the organizational level have problems in structuring, preparation of facilities and infrastructure as a result of the expansion of the districts. Development of the system is less than the maximum level for the design of frameworks related to policy settings and basic conditions that support the achievement of specific policy objectivity, does not run properly. In turn, the purpose of capacity building within the ability of police officers Palu Police in order to improve the professionalism and performance of the organization mainly maintaining Kamtibmas, be less than optimal.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the performance of Early Childhood Education in Parigi Barat Sub-district, Parigi Moutong Regency the involved informants in this research are the teachers of TK Satu Atap Baliara, the principle of TK Al-Khairaat Kayuboko, the principle of TK Satu Atap Parigimpu'u, the kindergartens supervisor and Unit Head of Technical Executive of Parigi Barat Sub-district, the data collection techniques are observations, interviews and documentations, the data used is primary data obtained directly from the informants who were then analyzed by the stages of data reduction, presentation and conclusion, the type of this research is Qualitative descriptive which uses Agus Dwiyanto's performance theory. Based on the results of this research, it is found a difference between the ideal values and the reality, so it is concluded that the performance of Early Childhood Education is not optimal, it is proven by a test in the aspect of productivity related to the presence of teachers in schools and classrooms, the aspect of service quality with  learning implementation indicator, the aspect of responsiveness is seen from the approach used by the teachers in learning either the method or the use of media, accountability aspect is seen from the work ethic and responsibility are not well implemented, the only aspect which is implemented well is the responsibility as measured from the involvement of teachers in developing the curriculum and preparing teaching materials.

Abstract

This research aims at identifying and analyzing the management of public transport retribution. This research uses descriptive qualitative, Terry’s measurements (2008; 40) consist of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. Based on data collection, it was concluded that the implementation of the planning function in the context of preparing the work program of the retribution amount targets of public transport, has not been implemented based on a feasibility study by identifying, presenting alternative options, and then setting it up. In a sense, targeting public transport retribution revenues has not applied planning functions conceptually yet. Implementation of the organizing functions or organizing people involved in the activity of the targets achievement of public transport retribution has been conducted well but it has not been able to integrate the duties and functions of field workers with proper remuneration. Implementation of actuating function by the leader is merely directed at achieving the target of public transport retribution, and it is not focused on how to move staff or officer by fulfilling the needs adequately. Implementation of the supervision function has not been conducted effectively because it tends to be done indirectly in the form of oral and written reports. While direct supervision is being left entirely to the coordinator of field supervisors who are vulnerable to abuse the authority. Based on these descriptions, it indicates that the implementation of functions of management in the management of public transport retribution is not maximal yet, and it is causing the retribution targeted annually is not achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the members participation on the cooperative net income, identify the rapid growth in cooperative net income and determine the contribution of their business unit for savings and loans on the net income of KPN Padanjakaya in Marawola District for fiscal year 2002-2012. This research is categorised as quantitative research through applying descriptive and quantitative analysis method at the same time. This study was conducted to examine the relationship between the participation of the cooperative members on net income. This study was conducted in Marawola district with the object of research is the Civil Servants Cooperative Padanjakaya. This study was conducted in the year 2014 by analysing the cooperative net income for fiscal year 2002-2012. There are several method of analysis in this study include: 1) simple linear regression; 2) analysis of growth, and; 3) analysis of contributions. The results of this study concluded that: 1) The statistical tests results show that the p value sig.2-tailed)> 0.05 so that the Ha hypothesis is accepted with 95% confidence level. This mean that there is a statistically significant in the relationship between the variables of members participation and the cooperative net income. 2) The development of the rapid growth of cooperative net income in the period 2002-2012 have increased on average from year to year but the development have also decreased for certain years in period of survey . The higher members participation, the more higher benefits will be received by cooperative members. 3) The contribution of savings and loan services to the cooperative net income in the period 2002-2012 have increased on average but the contribution have also decreased for certain years in the period of study. The utilisation of credit services (savings and loans) will impact on the cooperative revenue / income, where most of the revenue was used to optimising the working capital for funding daily operations of cooperative.

Abstract

This study aims at determining how extent the Implementation of Indonesian Broadcasting Commission Policy in building media Literacy in Central Sulawesi, as well as the inhibiting factors. This is a qualitative descriptive research. The population in this study is KPID Central Sulawesi, while the informants were determined by purposive sampling technique. The selected informants were Vice Chairman of KPI , Chairman of KPID of Central Sulawesi , Supervision of Broadcast Content, head of KPID secretariat Central Sulawesi, Media Literacy Observer, Subjects of  Broadcasting Agency and media of children and women observer. Techniques of the data collection in this study are: Observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentations. The results were analyzed by using the theory of Van Meter and Van Horn. This theory presupposes that policy implementation runs liniarly with public policy, the implementor and the performance of the public policy itself. Furthermore, the success of policy  implementation determined by several aspects, these aspects according to Van Meter and Van Horn are; 1) Aspect of Basic Measures and objectives of Policy, 2) Aspect of Policy Resources , 3) Aspects of implementation activity and communication among organizations, 4) Aspects of implementor characteristics, 5) Aspect of implementor tendency ), 6) Aspect of economic, social, and political conditions. The results show that the implementation of media literacy in Central Sulawesi, has not run as expected by KPID Central Sulawesi because there are some aspects that have not been fulfilled.The aspects are: 1) aspect of Policy Resources and 2) aspect of implementation and communication activity among organizations. While 1) Aspect of basic Measures and policy objectives, 2) Aspect of the characteristics of the implementor, 3) Aspect of inclination, and 4) Aspect of economic, social and political have been fulfilled.

Abstract

Abstract The main focus of the research is bureaucracy behavior. The research aims at finding out bureaucracy behavior at district office Parigi Barat of Parigi Moutong Regency. Theory used was from Miftah Thoha formulated in 5 aspects, as the main requirement of behavior achievement success, namely: ability, needs, trust, experience and expectation. This research employed a qualitative method. The informant was determined through purposive sampling. The data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. The techniques of data analysis were data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion (verification). The results reveal that bureaucracy behavior at district office Parigi Barat of Parigi Moutong Regency have not been felt and conducted as it should be by the apparatus of bureaucracy of district office Parigi Barat. From 5 aspects observed, three of them have not been done, namely ability, needs and trust. On experience aspect, evaluation given by the leader then it would make the apparatus pleased to work. In addition, on expectation aspect that it truly gives positive result even though there is still a bit of friction of bureaucracy. Meanwhile, three previous aspects were not good. On ability aspect, it gives a disappointed result where the absence or inactive of apparatus were still low and it impacted to individual behavior. On needs aspect, it was not fully fulfilled particularly on organic officers, whereas on trust aspect there are still any officers who did not understand their duty and function as bureaucracy apparatus so it would distract the improvement of behavior.

Abstract

The background of this research is that Class II Agricultural Quarantine Office of Palu, Mutiara-Sis Al-Jufri Airport working area, has a tougher challenge than the other working areas. The challenges are such as supervising and serving the service users of animals quarantine who are in or out using air transport services through Mutiara Airport Sis Al Jufri Palu where the activities of loading and unloading are following the commercial flights schedule  from Monday – Sunday, 06:00 am – 24:00 pm , while the clerk who are on service only 3 (three) people of the ideal number 10 (ten) people. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with object of research the service of Animal Quarantine at Class II Agricultural Quarantine Office of Palu, Mutiara-Sis Al-Jufri Airport working area. While the concept used is Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy which are expressed in the concept of service quality (servqual). The results of this study show that the quality of animal quarantine service at the Central Office of Agricultural Quarantine Class II Palu Work Areas Mutiara Airport Sis Al Jufri Palu general judging of the five variables in terms of both quantity and quality of the infrastructure needed in the service has been very good as well the quality of the officers who provide excellent service. But what is still lacking is the number of service personnel only 3 (three) and therefore contributes to the number of days and hours of service, which should service animal quarantine adjusted to flight schedule commercial aircraft from Monday - Saturday from 06.00 pm - 24.00 pm, but the fact now they simply could serve as civil servants working hours are from Monday - Friday from 07:30 pm - 16:00 pm.

This Research Target is know and analyse The Policy Implementation Of Land Registry At Office Land Donggala  Regency Central Sulawesi Province. this Research Type is research qualitative with the informan selected by the four of people. Data collecting use the technique interview and documentation. Technique analyse the data used by that is (1) Data collecting (2) Data Discount (3) Data Presentation (4) Verification (5) Conclusion. The researcher Theory used in this is Van of metre and Horn Van in (Subarsono, 2005), measuring policy implementation by: (1) standard and Target (2) Resource (3) Communications (4) Executor (5) social Condition  and ( 6) Disposition. The result of research and analysis a researcher is hence concluded the implementation of policy  land registry not yet walked better, with the the following detail: (1) Implementation  policy of]land registry in Office Land Donggala Regency seen from factor of standard and policy target not yet walked better, seen from time duration still in land registry become the certificate, so that society feel saturated in conducting land registry and visit upon the Office of Land Donggala Regency (2) Implementation of policy  land registry in Office Land of Donggala Regency seen from Resource factor not yet walked better this matter is seen from medium and prasarana not yet adequate and also sum up the officer which still office Land Donggala Regency. (3) Implementation of policy  land registry in Office Land Donggala Regency seen from factor comunication, characteristic, political and economic social condition and also disposition factor not yet walked better, this matter is seen from facility which disedikan not yet adequate is and also supported by result of interview with the informan conducted by a field telling not yet walked better
