Abstract

Abstract. A review on the knowledge of the stellar evolution toward the main sequence is presented. This is the period during which the stars evolve from the beginning of their formation to the phase of stabilization on the main sequence where nuclear reactions begin to provide the entire energy supply. Ringkasan. Dalam tulisan ini diberikan suatu ulasan mengenai evolusi bintang menuju ke deret utama. Yang dimaksud dengan periode evolusi disini ialah periode sejak bintang-bintang tersebut dibentuk, dari materi antar bintang, hingga mencapai saat ketika energi bintang-bintang tersebut dibentuk dengan reaksi nuklir.

Abstract

Abstract. A concise description of the design and construction of the low speed wind-tunnel at Institut Teknologi Bandung and the calculation of its energy losses are presented. Some tests have been undertaken to evaluate its performance, in particular to evaluate the flow pattern at the test-section and the power input for a specific range of wind velocity at the test-section. The maximum velocity achieved at the test-section was 30 m/sec with corresponding Reynolds number of 2 x 104 per cm.  Ringkasan. Konstruksi dan perhitungan kerugian energi  pada terowongan angin kecepatan rendah di ITB diuraikan secara garis besar. Selanjutnya dipaparkan hasil-hasil penilaian performance dari terowongan angin ini, terutama mengenai keadaan aliran pada testsectiondan hubungan antara daya input pada motor dengan kecepatan aliran pada test-section. Kecepatan angin sebesar 30 m/det dapat diperoleh pada test-section, dengan bilangan Reynolds sebesar 2 x 104 per cm model.

Abstract

Ringkasan. Evaluasi nodulasi alami terhadap 102 species Polong-polongan dari beberapa tempat di Jawa Barat telah dilakukan. Kesemuanya termasuk kedalam familia Ceasalpiniaceae (17 species), Mimosaceae (19 species) dan Papilionaceae (66 species).Abstract. The evaluation of natural nodulation towards 102 Leguminous plant species of the West Java area, have been studied. These belong to the family of Ceasalpiniaceae (17 species), Mimosaceae (19 species) and Papilionaceae (66 species).
