Abstract

Communication Apprehension is one of the obstacles to communicating. People who experience communicate apprehension will as much as possible avoid communication situations. This research aims to know the forms of communication apprehension on early childhood and the impact of the anxiety the child communicate towards social interaction of children in her environment, so that the habit of communication apprehension children can eventually minimized. The design of this research uses qualitative research conducted at TKK Thomas Aquino B1 group with conducting observations at TKK Thomas Aquino particular observations, interview, and documentation. From the results of the study found that other forms of child’s communication apprehension among them, are not active in the activities, over communication, just silent, brooding, not excited, did not want to follow the events, depending on the teacher, did not want to run the command, crying, unwilling to be left to parents, not want to with friends, do not want to convey opinions and didn't want to talk in public. Communication apprehension on early childhood have an impact on the interaction of the child, especially in the social environment, away from the conversation with his friends, does not come into play and rarely get out of class, can‘t socialize with others and sometimes disrupt or interfere with the activities of the people in the vicinity. Abstract

ABSTRAK The goal of this research is to describe and to explain the integrated marketing communication strategic od Go-Jek Branch Bali in establishing brand awareness among the expatriate. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Informants are chosen by purposive technique and snowball. The data obtained through interview, direct observation, and documentation study. As for the analysis techniques used in this research is through several step, which is data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that Go-Jek Branch Bali uses the integrated marketing communication strategy in establishing brand awareness among the expatriate. Although it has a diverse audience segmentation, Go-Jek Branch Bali using the similar integrated marketing communication but adapted in terms of language. In addition, Go-Jek Branch Bali are focusing the marketing communication in digital by utilizing social media. In delivering the message, Go-Jek Branch Bali deliver a similar message to every communication channel but without including keywords so the message would look different. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pasubayan Desa Adat organization is an informal organization consisting of 39 Desa Adat in Bali. The organization of Pasubayan Desa Adat was formed on the basis of the purpose to preserve the environment and culture of Bali’s land. The purpose of this research is to explain communication pattern in Pasubayan Desa Adat organization. This research used descriptive qualitative research type. informants in this research are were chosen by using purposive technique and data obtained through interview to informant and documentation studies. Analytical techniques in this study using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. This study found that the organization of Pasubayan Desa Adat has a non-hierarchical organizational structure. Communication pattern in Pasubayan Desa Adat organization is a stellar or all-channel, which occurs during interaction of communication between members in social media (WhatsApp group and SMS) and at the time of formal and informal interaction that occurs directly between members. Abstract

ABSTRACT Media has full authority in determining the priority issues and protrusion the aspect of news. Women looked dominant as an object highlighted in the news. Content imbalance between men and women makes framing news about women more attractive to investigate. Based on the background of these issues, this study aims to find how the framing of Feriyani Lim in the case of Abraham Samad and Feriyani Lim's intimate photo in Tribunnews.com. Research data: Tribunnews.com news period February 3, 2015 - 11 March, 2015. This study uses a constructivism with approach of qualitative research. Analysis research method of framing models by William A Gamson used for identify the framing device and reasoning device. Framing device consist of : (1) metaphors, (2) depiction, (3) catchphrases, (4) Examplaar, (5) Visual Image. Reasoning devices consist  of: (1) roots, (2) appeals to principle, (3) concequences. The results showed depictions of Ferniyani Lim tend to show Feriyani Lim's image as a woman who is considered sexy, prostitute, has Chinese ethnic and has a luxurious lifestyle. Abstract

The myth of I Gede Mecaling has been enveloved in Batuan Pakraman Village and passed down from generation to generation. The myth told about the act of I Gede Mecaling who always hurt the people who lived in Batuan Pakraman Village. The act of I Gede Mecaling had an effect, then he was expelled from Batuan Pakraman Village. he cursed and swear that Batuan Pakraman Villagers will be affected if they cross to Nusa Penida. That myth caused the dualism attitude among the villagers in Batuan Pakraman Village, going or not going to Nusa Penida. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that affect the attitude of Batuan Pakraman Village to the myth of I Gede Mecaling. This research used qualitative descriptive reseacrh type. The data that develoved in this research used interview, observation and documentation studies method. For the selection of the informan used purposive sampling and snowball techniques. The research of this research shows that there is a dualism attitude among the villagers to the myth of I Gede Mecaling affected by expirience factor, economic factor and the value factor in the family. The myth is a communication medium because there is a message in it. Then the myth is spread oarally from generation to generation. Abstract

The goal of this research is to know the communication pattern used by lesbians in the Srikandi Dewata Community in the process of developing interpersonal relationship up to the stage of intimacy to be a lover. This research uses descriptive qualitative type. Informants were selected by purposive and snowball techniques. Data were obtained by using in-depth interview technique, direct observation, and documentation study. Data analysis techniques used in this study through several stages namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that lesbians within the Srikandi Dewata Community used four patterns of communication in the process of developing relationships to the stage of intimacy to become lovers. First is the primary communication pattern in which they use verbal and non verbal communication in the development of their relationship. Second is the pattern of secondary communication, they use the second channel or media in the delivery of messages, namely mobile and use of chat applications. Third is a linear communication pattern, this communication pattern is formed from the stages and process of developing their interpersonal relationship, from interpersonal communication stage, contact stage, stage of engagement, and stage of intimacy. Fourth is the circular communication pattern, this pattern is used in the stage of involvement and stage of familiarity to know the respond an feedback from the message given from the communication to the communicator. Abstract

Androgynous fashion can be said as a non-verbal communication medium because it does not use oral or written words in the delivery of the message. Where the elements contained in androgynous fashion such as clothing, hairstyles, and accessories worn by androgynous fashion users consciously or unconsciously can convey a message of emotion, feelings, behavior, or personality of the user. The purpose of this study is to find out what messages to be conveyed by users of androgynous fashion and how androgynous fashion is used as a medium to communicate. Data collection was done by observation method, interview and documentation study. This research is a qualitative research with explorative study method. The analysis technique that used in this research is interactive model analysis, Milles and Huberman. The results of this study is to show that androgynous fashion is not only used as a medium to convey a message of emotion, feelings, behavior or personality of the user, but also used to express themselves and distinguish someone with others, both in terms of the profession, hobbies and interest. Androgynous fashion is also a form of self-liberation from the gender barriers and social constructs that exist in society. Abstract

The online dating application has changed the way people find a dating friend, from face-to-face into an online encounter. One of the online dating application is Tinder. Tinder users do an online interaction such as exchange personal information as a relationship development process, before they decide to meet face-to-face. One of the stages that influence the relationship development is self disclosure. Self disclosure is the way people disclose their personal information. In the online encounter, self disclosure happenes when someone disclose their personal information via internet to another person. The aim of this research is to explain self disclosure of the Tinder users. This research is qualitative research, using social penetration theory and CMC. The result of the study found that through 1 day-2 weeks self disclosure, the intensity of the six subjects are different, with a constant and stable intensity, someone can disclose their self better. With those different intensity, all subjects disclose their personality structure randomly. 3 of 6 subjects disclose their self till the third level (preference in something), subject D is the one who can disclose her self till the deepest level, but she didn’t pass the third and fifth level. The same background with her match make her do self disclosure till the sixth level. Personality structure those disclose randomly make an impact to the depth of self disclosure. 4 of 6 subjects can pass the second and third level of the depth self disclosure phase. Abstract

Nowadays, online media is very effective to advertise goods and services, one of online media is Instagram. Marketers have to be more creative in creating advertisements. One of the strategies to advertise in online media is by using celebrity endorser. This study aims to determine the influence of celebrity endorser towards the establishment of brand awareness on @georgiosstore’s Instagram account among female students at SMAN 1 Denpasar. This research used quantitative approach in the form of explanation which conducted through survey. The data was collected by giving questionnaires to the sample of 256 respondents from female students of SMAN 1 Denpasar. This research was conducted by using non probability sampling technique and purposive sampling method. Indicators of this study were tested using validity test and reliability test. The hypotheses were tested using simple linear regression analysis. This study resulted on the regression coefficient of celebrity endorser (X) is 0,430 (positive) with significance level 0.000 smaller than ? = 0.05, it shows that there is positive influence of celebrity endorser towards the establishment of brand awareness among female students of SMAN 1 Denpasar. Abstract

ABSTRACT In realizing the transparency of Public Information according to Undang-Undang Number 14 in year 2008 about Public Disclosure, Police of the Republic Indonesia ratified the legislation Peraturan Kapolri Number 16  in year 2010. That regulation must be executed by all the member of Polri from the central level to the regional unity, such as Polresta Denpasar, At the level of Polresta, Documentation and Information Management Carried by public relations. In carrying out the duties to provide a public informations services, the public relations of Polresta Denpasar implement a variety of public relations strategy. In analyzing it, this research is using the method or approaching strategy of Rusady Ruslan’s public relations. This is a descriptive qualitative research by using a triangulation techniques. This study has shown implementation of Polresta Denpasar run their duties and responsibility as a public relations as well as Document and Information Management officer. In practice, public relations of Polresta Denpasar  has used several of public relations strategies based on the types information which can be delivered to the public accordance with  Perkap Number 16 in year 2010. In delivering the informations indirectly, Public Realtions of Polresta Denpasar used the social media, website and email. Other than that, Public Relations of Polresta Denpasar also serves the request for indirect information by utilizing the public services of Public Information Centre (PIC).
