Abstract

Coconut shell and husk was the waste wich has not been utilize optimally. They have a fairly high content of cellulose. The solution of this problem to become liquid smoke. The aim of this research was to detect the best yield result of liquid smoke that containet phenol and acid. Liquid smoke obtained from the condensation of fumes on pyrolysis of constituents such as cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. Pyrolysis occurred for 5 hours at temperature of 400 ° C. Two dominant resulting compound is phenol and organic acids which inhibit the growth of bacteria. The best results are found in liquid smoke grade 1 with grade phenol compound at 4.08%, 10.39% acidity and pH value of 1.4. The yield best results from the coconut husk is 32.6%. Abstract

ABSTRACT To improve the stability of the slope, there are several methods that can be used, one atunya is to use the construction of retaining wall. Retaining wall is a construction which serves to hold lateral soil pressure caused by the soil behind the retaining wall. There are two types of retaining walls are often used in the field, namely the type of gravity and cantilever type. The purpose of this study is to analyze the stability of the landslide in the planning stone retaining walls and concrete structures on poor road - kediri sta.12.500 miles. Type retaining wall planned to use the back side of the retaining wall sloping because this type in accordance with the height of the river. Dimensional stable against the wall : Wallstable against soil bearing style = 288,05 > qa = 31,259 (Safe) stable against shear walls = 1,6 > 1,5 (Safe) Wall stable against rolling style = 2,2 > 1,5 (Safe). ABSTRAK Untuk meningkatkan stabilitas lereng, ada beberapa metode yang bisa digunakan, salah atunya adalah dengan menggunakan konstruksi dinding penahan tanah. Dinding penahan tanah adalah konstruksi yang berfungsi untuk menahan tekanan tanah lateral yang ditimbulkan oleh tanah belakang dinding penahan tanah. Ada dua jenis dinding penahan tanah yang sering digunakan di lapangan, yaitu type gravitasi dan type kantilever. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa longsoran pada perencanaan kestabilan dinding penahan struktur batu kali dan beton pada ruas jalan malang-kediri sta.12.500 km. Jenis dinding penahan tanah yang direncanakan dengan menggunakan dengan dinding penahan tanah sisi belakang miring karena jenis ini sesuai dengan ketentuan ketinggian sungai. Dimensi dinding stabil terhadap : Dinding stabil terhadap gaya dukung tanah = 288,05 > qa = 31,259 (Aman) Dinding stabil terhadap gaya geser = 1,6 > 1,5 (Aman) Dinding stabil terhadap gaya guling = 2,2 > 1,5 (Aman). Kata kunci : Stabilitas Lereng, Dinding Penahan, Gravitasi.

Abstract

Problems landslides are common in Indonesia , especially during the rainy season which resulted in an increase in the volume of water, soil conditions become unstable, this often creates victims of both fatalities and casualties material. One of the locations with frequent landslides in Residence of Malang. One of the ways used to control stability of the land so as not to slide is to build a retaining wall. Planning retaining wall is located on the River Celaket , Gading Kulon village , subdistrict Dau , Malang. In this plan , the data is taken directly through laboratory tests in soil mechanics laboratory civil engineering Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang University. The type of planned retaining wall is gravity type. In order to the building can be function properly, then the stability of the building must also be planned as best as possible, therefore, The stability of the retaining wall analyzed to the danger of rolling (bolting) and sliding in normal water conditions without the earthquake, dwite the earthquake and flood water level conditions without the earthquake, with earthquakes Analyzed using the Rankine formula. The result is SFsliding 1,81 > 1,5 dan 1,32 > 1,2, SFbolters 2,07 > 1,5 dan 1,36 > 1,2 (for normal conditions without and with earthquake) dan SFsliding 2,11 > 1,5 and 1,49 > 1,2 SFbolters 2,10 > 1,5 dan 1,26 > 1,2 (for flood condition without and with earthquake), it turns out safely. Abstract

Petroleum is a non-renewable energy, while oil is still a choice that will result in the depletion of oil reserves. One of the energy that needs to be addressed to develop is biomass as an alternative energy. Alternative technologies for utilizing biomass waste is a technology for making charcoal by pyrolysis. Charcoal briquettes can be used as an energy alternative to kerosene. The raw material charcoal briquettes can be made of various materials, such as rice straw. In this study, the material used is rice straw aims to determine the effect of particle size dankuat press the calorific value and the duration of the test flame from rice straw charcoal briquette. Rice straw is the material that is not so good to be used as charcoal briquettes, in accordance with the results of the highest calorific value is 3,100 cal and flame test longest time is 10501 seconds or 1: 52 min. While most high calorific content of only 2,913. So as to substitute alternative energy not so good according to SNI 1-6235-200. ABSTRAK Minyak bumi adalah energi yang tidak dapat diperbarui, sedangkan minyak masih menjadi pilihan utama sehingga akan mengakibatkan menipisnya cadangan minyak bumi. Salah satu energi yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian untuk dikembangkan adalah biomassa sebagai energi alternatif. Teknologi alternatif untuk memanfaatkan limbah biomassa adalah teknologi pembuatan arang dengan proses pirolisis. Briket arang dapat digunakan sebagai energi alternatif pengganti minyak tanah. Bahan baku pembuatan briket arang dapat dibuat dari berbagai macam bahan, misalnya jerami padi. Pada penelitian ini bahan yang digunakan adalah jerami padi bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran partikel dankuat tekan terhadap nilai kalor dan lama waktu uji nyala dari briket arang jerami padi. Jerami padi merupakan bahan yang kurang begitu bagus untuk dijadikan bahan briket arang, sesuai dengan hasil penelitian nilai kalor tertinggi adalah 3,100 kal dan waktu uji nyala terlama yaitu 10501 detik atau 1: 52 menit. Sedangkan kadar kalor yang paling tinggi hanya 2.913. Sehingga untuk pengganti energi alternatif kurang begitu baik menurut SNI 1-6235-200. Kata Kunci : Minyak Bumi, Biomassa, Energi Alternatife, Jerami padi, Briket Arang.

Abstract

Retaining wall has function to hold the soil and prevent it from sliding danger. Because of load rain, heavy soil or because of the load acting. At this time, the construction of retaining wall is very often used in civil works construction although the retaining wall had been famous in the world. The occurrence of avalanches on the Konto river in Jalan Abd.Manan Wijaya Pujon caused by the dimensions of the retaining wall is too small so unstable to the safety factor (fs), the value of the safety factor in the review is a safety factor to bearing capacity, shear forces and stability against roll style. The purpose of this study was to increase the strength of an existing retaining wall so it can prevent sliding because of the location of research there on the corner of the street and there is a bridge crossing the local residents as well as the access to the main line Malang - Kediri. Planning additional soil retaining walls using a modification of gravity type retaining wall masonry and reinforced concrete times. Dimensional stability against sliding wall: 2.33> 1.5 (safe) and was stable against the bolsters: 5.3> 1.5 (safe). Keywords: Bend, Ancillary, Stability Retaining Walls.

Abstract

Soil as construction material as well as the foundation of a construction land or structures such as dams, embankments, retaining walls, buildings and bridges. In every construction requires a specific requirement in terms of both strength and economically. This study aimed to analyze and plan for a stable retaining wall on the stability of the shift, the overthrow and the carrying capacity by using Gravity Type On Roads Ngantang Locations in Malang. Calculation of earth pressure calculated using Rankine theory. Stability Analysis Results Retaining Walls with Gravity Type Dimensions: Width top (B1) 0.50 m, base width (B2) of 2.00 m and a total height (H + D) 14.00 m, which then did not secure the stability of the overthrow ( 0.4 1.5). Results Budget Plan (RAB) in the calculation of total fees earned USD 839 855 542, the cost of any work (m3) Rp 1,566,164.181, job retention costs (m) USD 27,995,184.73. Abstract

Some communities in Malang still much settled in areas close to the river banks or cliffs. In this case to note there are many who rely on the land retaining wall as a cantilever aides foundatin on peoples homes. Retaining walls can be said to be safe if the retaining wall has been considered the safety factor, both against the dangers of the shift, the danger of overthrow, reduced bearing capacity and fracture. Planning retaining wall is located in a residential of Graha Indah Santosa on a Karangbesuki metro river bank Karangbesuki metro Village, Sukun District, Malang. The planned retaining wall is the type of gravity. In order to this building function properly, then the stability of the building should also be good. Therefore, the author tries to analyze the stability of the retaining wall to the danger of rolling and sliding toward normal water level conditions without the earthquake, with earthquake and toward flood water level conditions without the earthquake, with earthquakes. Calculation using the formula Rankine. As a result, Sfsliding 1,82> 1.5 and 1.65> 1.2 SFshear 1.9> 1.5 and 1.57> 1.2 (for normal conditions without and with earthquake) and SFsliding 1.9> 1,5 and 1.8> 1.2, SFshear 1.65> 1.5 and 1.35> 1.2 (for flood conditions without and with earthquake) turns secure. Abstract

Needs a very large of paving block in the Probolinggo area, positive response by the local community as a very promising business prospects. Paving blcok made in Kademangan village using a mixture of cement and Lumajang sand which are relatively more expensive than the Probolinggo local sand. To reduce the cost of materials, Kademangan residents uses garuk sand to reduce the use of Lumajang sand, where the price per cubic meter of garuk sand is much cheaper than Lumajang sand. The use of garuk sand as a partial replacement of Lumajang sand material effect on the resulting compressive strength. Based on research that has been done, the value of the average compressive strength of paving blocks produced by the composition of the mixture of 0%, 5%, 10%, 25% and 50% garuk sand to Lumajang sand on testing 28 days in a row at 29,55 MPa, 30,04 MPa, 27,96 MPa, 27,01 MPa and 14,02 MPa. Referring to the SNI 03-0691-1996 produced quality block paving mixture B to 0%, 5%, 10% and 25%, whereas a mixture of 50% produces quality paving block D. ABSTRAK Kebutuhan paving block yang sangat besar di daerah Probolinggo direspon positif oleh masyarakat setempat sebagai prospek usaha yang sangat menjanjikan. Paving blcok yang dibuat di Desa Kademangan menggunakan campuran semen dan pasir Lumajang yang harganya relatif lebih mahal dibandingkan pasir lokal Kabupaten Probolinggo. Untuk mengurangi biaya bahan, warga Kademangan memanfaatkan pasir garuk untuk mengurangi penggunaan pasir Lumajang, dimana harga permeter kubik pasir ini jauh lebih murah dibandingkan pasir Lumajang. Penggunaan pasir garuk sebagai bahan pengganti sebagian pasir Lumajang berpengaruh terhadap kuat tekan yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, nilai kuat tekan rata-rata paving block yang dihasilkan dengan komposisi campuran 0%, 5%, 10%, 25% dan 50% pasir garuk terhadap pasir Lumajang pada pengujian umur 28 hari berturut- turut sebesar 29,55 MPa, 30,04 MPa, 27,96 MPa, 27,01 MPa dan 14,02 MPa. Mengacu pada SNI 03-0691-1996 dihasilkan paving block mutu B untuk campuran 0%, 5%,10% dan 25%, sedangkan campuran 50% menghasilkan paving block mutu D. Kata kunci: paving block, pasir garuk, kuat tekan, mutu.

Abstract

The highway is a target trajectory of transportation that serves to reach from one place to another. Therefore, to improve and expedite the flow of traffic on roads Binangun, District Binangun, Blitar in East Java requires good planning in order to obtain good results and also economically. This study aims to plot thick rigid pavement on roads Binangun with melekukan survey include traffic data on average daily, know the condition of the road, and the measurement path. This plan is intended to plan a road thick rigid pavement on roads Binangun. The method used in the planning of this road is rigid pavement using NAASRA (National Association of Australian State Road Authorities). Data analysis methods used, among others, are planning a thick slab of concrete, reinforcement planning, planning connection (Dowel and Tie Bar). Expenses for rigid pavement construction planning amounted to 60,243,947.1 kg/m3 of load for flexible pavement construction planning amounted to 48,009,707.1 kg/m3 . The number of vehicles according the survey data over the age of plans based on the total fatigue approaching or equal to 100 % . The importance of the rigid pavement thickness to be used on roads Binangun Blitar District of Binangun are 180 mm = 18 cm. Keywords: Rigid Pavement, NAASRA
