Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study are to determine the policies, collection development, selection process, criteria of selection, procurement of collection, collection weeding and maintenance of the collection.The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. Object of this study in Udayana University Library. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study shows that most of the collections available at Udayana University Library have been inadequate. Based on the results of this study, the recommendation are that the collection development at Udayana University Library should be implemented to the fullest in order to supply all the information needed by the library users at Udayana University Library. The librarians at Udayana University Library should have more attention and better respond to the needs of users in the procurement process of the collection, so that the users' needs can be met.   Keywords:Collection Development, University Library

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is to observe interior arrangement of Indonesia Art Institute. Research method were used are qualitatif descriptif. Data accunulation used interview method and analysis the data. Sampel data of this research picked from librarian of Indonesia Art Institute . The result of the research is interior arrangement of Indonesia Art Institute is not suitable yet because interior development, suppying and service placed in on place. Considering those problems the author would like to advice the interior arrangement should be split and not placed in one plave to ensure the activity and service more effective.
