Abstract

The reference collection is one of the important collections in the library, including the university library. College libraries in addition to providing reference collections also specifically provide reference services to assist users in using reference collections. The goal of this paper is to deliver a strategy for the use of reference collections that can be applied by libraries to users. The research method used is literature study. Reference collections in university libraries are rarely used by users because many people have turned to looking for information on the internet instead of reading directly to the library. The strategies that can be carried out include: educating users on how to access or introducing reference collections to students, promoting reference collections by utilizing social media and always providing the latest and most up-to-date reference collections so that users are interested in using reference collections. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia has hampered people's daily activities. Libraries as institutions that provide services to the community are also affected. A very influential impact is the implementation of services that do not run optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the service strategy of the Denpasar City Library and Archives Service during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews with service librarians and users at the Denpasar City Library and Archives Service, and documentation. The object of this research is the service strategy of the Denpasar City Library and Archives Service. This research was conducted for 2 months, namely March – May 2022. The results of this study are expected to be able to provide maximum service to users as before the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

Library collections are important things that must be properly maintained because they are vulnerable to damage. If the library collection is damaged it will decrease the quality of the collection so that it cannot be used optimally. Librarians really need to know the factors that affect the damage to library collections. The factors that cause damage are caused by internal factors and external factors. If you already know the factors that affect the damage, it will be easy to take early prevention to maintain and maintain library collections properly.

Abstract

The development of increasingly rapid and sophisticated technology is very helpful in facilitating human life, especially in terms of easy access to information. Easy access to information spread on the internet has an impact on students' bad habits. This habit causes students to tend to commit plagiarism. The purpose of this study was to determine how Udayana University students perceive the use of the Turnitin to prevent plagiarism. This study uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach with data collection techniques used are questionnaires and literature study. The author uses the Slovin and purposive sampling in this study. The results of this study indicate that the perception of Udayana University students on the use of the Turnitin to prevent plagiarism can be categorized as a positive perception. In general, respondents have understood the benefits of using the Turnitin to minimize cases of plagiarism. Keywords: Perception, Turnitin, Plagiarism, Udayana University

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the strategy of library promotion during the Covid-19 pandemic using social media. The means of library promotion can be divided into two, namely means in printed form and means in electronic form. This type of research uses library research. The strategy is to determine the targets/targets of promotional activities, determine the promotional media to be used, plan concepts for promotional media, and disseminate promotional media on social media. Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the use of the Onesearch.id application at Udayana University. This research method is descriptive quantitative and data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The population in this study is the academic community of Udayana University. The sample uses the Slovin formula and the sampling technique is purposive sampling. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the Onesearch.id application is used by students as a learning aid, improves student performance, increases student effectiveness, makes it easier to make assignments, easy to learn, easy to understand and flexible when used by students, very fun, the Onesearch. id is very safe, and students are eager to return to using the Onesearch.id application.
