Abstract

Research examining the role of customer voice to encourage positive word ofmouth and marketing research cooperation in higher education service is scarce. This paper aims to examine the antecedents and consequences of customer voice within a higher education context. A qustionnaire was developed with item measures that captures the constructs in the conceptual model. A survey of higher education student was undertaken. The data are analysed with SEM. The result show there is a significant impact of prior complain experience and attitude toward complain on customer voice. And the customer voice have impact on positive word of mouth and marketing research cooperation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to study and examine the influence of organizational culture and career development, job satisfaction and its impact on the performance of employees so as to know this, the researchers analyzed the data and test hypotheses specifically about the effect of work culture and career development to the level of employee satisfaction and its impact on employee performance. The object of research is done in service companies ritail Department Store in Kab.Klaten. To be able to accommodate all of the above terbut researchers used a descriptive analytical type of research, in order to test hypotheses with survey research methods, while the sampling technique by applying probability sampling, Sedankan for data analysis using path analysis/path analysis. The results showed that the work culture and careerdevelopment patterns affect the level of job satisfaction, further work culture and career development patterns also affect the performance of employees, as well as employee satisfaction influence on employee performance. Specifications output/outcome specifikation results of this study are expected to be entered for entrepreneurs ritail services department store in the district. Klaten with the expectations of the leadership of the department store in the area Kab.Klaten can formulate a human resource development strategy right/in accordance with the development of business in generating program development and quality of human resources which have high value. Besides, this research also can provide useful information to management/offender retail services, as well as an input in optimizing the performance of employees. Implications If the employer/principal retail services are not prioritized in developing, managing and developing human resources more targeted/programmed, the development of human resources in the organization can not have competitif advanted line with developments in the business world department store retail services business. Development and sustainability of the business services department store retail area of Klaten city can eventually contribute increasing revenue in Klaten district.

Abstract

The aim of the content analysis is to construct social network terminology inentrepreneurship journal. There are 97 journal abstracts that analyzed from six keyword search query in Proquest, the queries are “Entrepreneur & Behavior”, “Entrepreneurship & Creativity & Innovation”, “Entrepreneurship & Social Network”, “Entrepreneurship & Culture”, “Entrepreneurship & Marketing” and “Global Entrepreneurship Monitor”. All the abstracts analyzed with Provalis Research QDA Miner, a Qualitative Quantitative Data Analysis software. QDA miner identified relevant keyword, relate keywords with jaggard coefficient of cooccurrence and the proximity plot. All the relevant keywords being analyzed with Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) and construct the relevant keywords regards to social network. Finally, there are two main findings, the first findingdistinquishes the three level of analysis framework which are the individual level, the firm level and the macro level as representation of the continuous process to accumulate resources. The second finding construct social network as national culture, furthermore the construct of social network closely related with social capital and human capital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Dividend Policy, Firms Size (SIZE), and Book Value (BV) on stock price with partially and simultaneously. Dividend policy is measured by Dividend Per Share (DPS). And firm size is measured by sales company. The research model in this study used panel data analysis. The samples are 51 firms listed on Index LQ-45 in 2007- 2010 selected by purposive sampling method. The empirical results partially show that Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Book Value (BV) have positive significant effect on stock price. Further, dividend policy and firm size do not have positive significant effect on stock price. Beside that the result simultaneously showed that Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Dividend Policy, Firms Size (SIZE), and Book Value (BV) have significant effect on stock price.

The Result Of The Research Showed That Compensation And Motivation Has Influence On Employee Performance Simultaneously. Partially, Compensation Has Influence On Employee Performance Whereas Motivation Han’ts Influence On Employee Performance.

Abstract

Creative industry is becoming competitive advantages to Indonesia. It has huge potency of intellectual capital around islands. Creative business aim to creating innovative business model and open absorb labor force. The objective of this study is to examine and analyze the relationships between strategic orientation (in this research consist of three dimensions; customer orientation, competitor orientation and cost orientation)and service innovation capability. Object of this study was Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that operates in one of creative subsector industry and located at in Bandung, Denpasar, Jakarta or Yogyakarta. By using quantitative analysis, this study analyzed the relationship between independent and dependent variables through testing hypotheses using ordinary least square method. Open question method also used to show the pattern of creative business development from owners point of viewt. The result of this study found customer orientation and cost orientation positively related to service innovation capability. While, competitor orientation shows not have significant relationship to service innovation capability. From this research can be conclude that creative business (MSMEs) has focus on deserve customers interest. Besides, at the same time they create efficiency in cost. Mix of both orientations in the end will creating innovation culture that fit to their business environment.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: First, to explore the effect among service fairness, empathy and physical environment on customer loyalty. Second, to explore the effect among service fairness, empathy and physical environment on satisfaction. Third, to explore the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty. Fourth, to find out if customer satisfaction is able to mediate service fairness, empathy and physical environment toward customer loyalty.The population of this research are all customers from one of the coffee shopsin Jakarta.The samples are collected from one of coffee shops customers in West Jakarta. The method of data collection is purposive sampling with250 respondents. The technique of data analysis used in this study was regression analysis and mediating test to examine the hypotheses. The results are: (a) therelationship between service fairness, empathy and physical environment have a significant and positive effect toward customer loyalty; (b) the relationship between service fairness, empathy and physical environment have a significant and positive effect toward customer satisfaction; (c) customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty; (d) customer satisfaction will mediate the effect between service fairness, empathy and physical environment on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The governments policy to open up global markets will affect the level of competition is going to SMEs. One industry that is affected is the batik industry in Pekalongan. Government policies to free markets will increase competitive pressures that occur in the market. SMEs indusrtri batik is one that will have an impact of this policy. The purpose of this study was to examine how the effect of competitive pressure on the creativity and innovation of SMEs competitive advantage batik in Pekalongan Central Java Province. Intense competition encourages employers continue to innovate both product innovation, design, staining methods, technology and service innovations in the batik industry that are interested and able to compete both local and export markets. Location of the research done on the SME industry in Pekalongan batik. The sampling technique is purposive sampling on the owner or manager of the batik industry with the manager or owner minimal criteria already in the batik industry at least 5 years. Analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 16.0. The results of the study hypothesis of competition pressure allegedly positive effect on the ability of employers put through the creativity of product innovation, the pressure of competition and product innovation creativity alleged significant effect on the competitive advantage of SMEs batik industry. Market forces and the encouragement of entrepreneurs make entrepreneurs constantly have to innovate products to achieve competitive advantage of SMEs. Results of this study are expected to contribute to the theory of Resource Based view (RBV) which confirms that a company trying to maintain a competitive advantage through product innovation. Competitive pressures will encourage employers to creativity innovation so as to have a quality product and varies according to the wishes of consumers.

Abstract

The lack of human resources is one of the problem that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) has faced. Human resources in SMEs dont have sufficient knowledge and information and it effects the performances of SMEs. Dealing with people of ASEAN Economic Community will effect the resistance of SMEs in Bogor, due to the competitive and making an increase in quality of human resources towards SMEs in Bogor. This research was to analyze the effect of the learning organization and innovation towards performance of SMEs in Bogor. This research was conducted in Bogor with 46 samples for SMEs and 149 for respondent samples. The technique of sampling was conducted by using multi stage sampling namely the combination of stratified random sampling and proportional sampling. The tabulation data was analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) by approaching of Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of this research were (1) the existence of significant influence between learning organization toward innovation, (2) the learning organization gives a significant effect towards the performance of SMEs, (3) innovation gives a significant effect towards the performance of SMEs in Bogor.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the relationship between professionalism, schoolclimate, teacher performance and integrity of the Junior High School in East Jakarta. The survey was conducted in this study with a sample of 100 teachers with simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using correlational technique. The research findings are as follows. (1) There is a relationship between the professionalism and the performance. In other words, the higher the professionalism of teachers will be better performance. (2) There is a relationship between school climate and the performance. In other words, the higher the school climate will be better teacher performance. (3) There is a relationship between the integrity and the performance. In other words, the higher the integrity of the teacher so the higher the performance. (4) There is a relationship between professionalism, school climate, and integrity together with the performance. In other words, the higher the professionalism of teachers, school climate, and integrity of teachers together so the higher the performance.
