Abstract

To prepare  students to be an entrepreneur, Entrepreneurship courses should be given in the  college that equip them with hard skills and soft skills of entrepreneurship. In practice, the learning of Entrepreneurship needs to be evaluated, in order to identify what is important in Entrepreneurship courses and also to measure students satisfaction with the learning so far. This study was conducted to assess the evaluation of learning of Entrepreneurship courses in a higher education, especially at the University of Surabaya by measuring the satisfaction level of students on this course. Evaluation was conducted through survey by distributing questionnaires to a number of active students who have taken the course of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (KWI) in Semester 2013/2014 at several faculties. The analysis of the level of interest could identify five important variables on that course, i.e. the practical activities need to be done to give students experience in the business, a guest lecture tells the success story to be entrepreneurs, KWI inspires many ideas for opening a new business , KWI arouse interest in entrepreneurship, as well as the courses provides an opportunity for 'learning by doing'. Through the satisfaction analysis can be listed five variables with the highest satisfaction, such as covering practical activities need to be done to give students experience in the business a guest lecture tells success story be entrepreneurs, KWI materials include hard skills and soft skills as an entrepreneur, the lecturer understand the material presented , and lecturer can motivate students to be an entrepreneur. Then from the comparison of the level of importance and level of satisfaction will be known the strenghts that should be maintained and also the weaknesses that need to be improved. The results of this study can provide an input and as a basis to increase the quality of Entrepreneurship and Innovation course further. Keywords : learning evaluation, importance level, satisfaction level, entrepreneurship

Abstract

The development of society  is always related with poverty which happened to half of society. Nowadays,  poverty is not only Indonesian problem but also  world cases. Indonesia  was identically known with its poverty, however deeply inside this country is willingness to develop and grow up. Therefore, to anticipate the increasing of poor society,   the government through KKN-PPM opened the opportunity widely to help society by cooperation with university that had qualified human resources.One of them  is to help society to improve home industry at target village. It is known that home industry is  main role in nation economic that can hold on crisis time. This additional activity helps them to change their life better  .This research employed such method to visit the society to be trained, create their groups of home industry, conduct training of good products, labeling, business analysis, business development, exhibition, and study comparative to central industry of Makassar. Keyword: home industry, kanrejawa, bannang-bannang, innovation and technology

Abstract

Nowadays Investors often make investment decision irrationally. The decision is often based on their judgment that is far away from rational assumption. When investors face risky situa-tion, there are some objectivities, emotions, and other psychological factors that usually ef-fect their decision making. This purpose of study is to examine the effect of illusions of control, risk tolerance, overconfidence and emotion on investment decision making among investors in yogyakarta. Sample of this study is the investors who are 17 until 40 years old and investing in stocks. This study used purposive, convenience and snow-ball sampling method. There are 86 respondents taken from questionnaire. To test hypotheses, this study employs descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. Moreover, by performing multiple regression analysis, this study found that illusions of control does not have a negative significant while overconfidence has a positive significant and emotion has a negative significant influance to the investment decision. Key words: Investment Decision Making, illusions of control, overconfidence and  emotion.

Abstract

The increasing of human’s activities caused the pollution load going up. It affected the amount of the Winongo River’s capacity. One of the river management attempts was find out the amount of the capacity with a modeling method. The modeling program in this research was Qual2Kw. The research method was supported by the secondary and primary data treated by the Qual2Kw program. This research was divided in three scenarios. The trial results showed that the BOD concentration in the along of the river was 16 mg/L, the DO concentration was 2.4 mg/L, 7 of pH, and 26oC of temperature. The condition of BOD from the upstream to the downstream in the existing condition had exceeded the quality standards, 3 mg/L. The attempts to decrease the pollution load capacity of Winongo River by 2012 was decreasing the pollution load from the point source 959.25 kg/day and from the diffuser source was 193.75 kg/day. The another effort was making the IPAL Komunal in each sub-districts. Keywords: Winongo River, capacity, Qual2Kw

Abstract

These last few years , a lot of tourism village appeared in various regions , as well as in Sleman , Yogyakarta. Department of Tourism and Culture Sleman , noted , until 2015 there were a total of 35 tourism village with a variety of categories . With many of the tourism village , is necessary to manage the tourism village well . Mapping the location of the tourism village in Sleman district , conducted to provide ease of access roads to tourist sites for tourists domestic and foreign tourists . Software used is ArcGIS 10.1 . with ArcGIS can make a map of Tourism Village Location Sleman 2015. Keywords: Tourism Village , Maps , ArcGIS.

Abstract

Smoke salted egg production business now stands at Karanganyar where production capacity is still low. The problem faced are the continuity of supply of duck eggs, the smoker tools that low capacity and no have of P-IRT permits. Increased smoke salted eggs can be carried out by 1)  interlacement partnerships with suppliers duck eggs, 2) facilitating the permitting P-IRT, 3) introduction of appropriate technology smoker salted eggs and 4) mentoring. The activities that have been carried out to increase the impact of smoke where the salted egg business continuity and increased production capacity, expansion of marketing and revenue enhancement partner SMEs. Keywords: salted smoked, fumigation technology, production

Abstract

Along with the increasing of population led to the conversion of agricultural land into residential. Urban settlements in the Tegalgede village especially in areas caused a high density of houses and each house has a narrow yard. Until now, the yard is not used optimally so that the views of the houses in the village seem barren. One cause of the narrowness of the land and yard is limited family income. Based on the condition and situation, the problem of community are: (1) The level of education and knowledge on verticulture techniques  is low, and (2) The level of education and knowledge about farming and marketing management are limited, and (3)People are not able to manage their yard optimally. Some approaches were used to solve the problem, such as socialization, counseling, and mentoring, demoplot on organic vegetable cultivation using verticulture technique, business management and marketing management. Results shows that: (1) housewife who are members of households in the group of Rose and Jasmine achieved education and new knowledge about how organic green mustard cultivation, management and cost analysis of farm business, (2) housewife has positive activities every day, (3) yard house become more green and lush, (4) Families can consume healthy organic vegetables and free of pesticides as well as save expenses, and (5) There is an additional income for housewives who sold organic green mustard (Brassica rapa) crops. Keywords: Verticulture, organic vegetable, business management, marketing management

Abstract

Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure in arteries. Hypertension is a disorder of circulatory system that causes a rise in blood pressure above normal values.Hypertension is a global health problem that needs attention because it can lead todeath in the developed and developing countries. The prevalence of hypertension inIndonesia always increases. As time goes by, hypertension is not only caused by theheredity. Implementing the unhealthy lifestyle is the biggest factor that causedhypertension.  Dusun Wonolobo that located in Pandean, District Ngablak, Magelang has quite alot of people who have hypertension. The habit of the society that consumes tea and coffee can be one of the causes of hypertension. Socializing hypertension can help dusun society to know the factors that cause hypertension and the ways to decrease the bloodpressures. Knowing the causes factor, prevention and symptoms of the increasing bloodpressure can help the society in decreasing the number of hypertension.
