Abstract

In developing a tourist attraction, it is necessary to have publication and marketing support at the local, national and international level, because the success of development and efforts to improve the quality of tourism depends on the effectiveness of marketing activities and a tourist information center is needed. depending on the seriousness of the Regional Government in marketing tourist objects and public awareness, Seeing the decline in the number of tourists in the last 1 (one) year, it is a matter of marketing communication strategies that are less than optimal, especially on publications on social media so that the goals and objectives cannot be achieved by the Tourism and Culture office Langkat Regency. In an effort to increase the number of tourist visits, especially natural tourism, Bukit Lawang and Tangkahan. There needs to be more improvement in the implementation of effective communication that will support the implementation of the tourism marketing communication strategy of the Department of Tourism and Culture. This study uses descriptive research with a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques, observation. By using this method, it was found that the Department of Tourism and Culture Kab. Langkat has its own marketing communication strategy in increasing tourism in Langkat Regency.

Abstract

Based on the observations made, the campus should be a place for students to gain knowledge, exchange ideas, socialize with fellow students, and so on. However, what is seen is that the campus is used as a place to show off their appearance and lifestyle. So that when many students adopt a consumptive lifestyle, campus life is increasingly unclear. Students who have the ability in terms of finance become easily influenced to fulfill this consumptive lifestyle. This type of research is field research or often known as field research. Field research is a research conducted in the field or at the research location, a place chosen as a location to investigate objective phenomena as they occur at that location. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that social media is a medium that allows users to carry out social activities with each other through the internet network without being limited by distance, space, and time. Abstract

The presence of the internet and social networking platforms has both positive and negative impacts depending on how you use them. The positive impact will bring and develop knowledge and be able to share information with each other while the negative impact will lead to actions that will unwittingly take victims due to the irresponsibility of the perpetrator. One of the negative consequences of using the internet and digital communication methods is cyberbullying. This study used qualitative research methods. The use of qualitative research in this study is because the formulation of the problem in this study requires the use of a qualitative model, because when formulating the existing problem, the researcher wants to understand how the content of the comments contained in the detikForum discussion forum. There are various types of cyberbullying carried out by detikForum users. Generally in the form of cyber bullying, flaming and denigration. Stop cyberbullying by understanding communication ethics again so that you can filter the posts that will be sent on social media so that the writing does not hurt other people.

Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon of the problem that the researcher found in the field regarding the implementation of the policy of providing compensation to victims of traffic accidents by PT Jasa Raharja Sukabumi. The phenomena of this research problem are: 1) Limited number of employees resulting in multiple positions; 2) Lack of socialization so that there are still many people who are confused about managing accident compensation claims; and 3) The online compensation claim process has not been optimal yet. This study aims to determine the implementation of the policy of providing work accident compensation at PT Jasa Raharja Sukabumi. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The determination of informants in this study uses snowball sampling technique. Whereas, the data collection techniques which were used by researchers are observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the theory of policy implementation according to Jones (1996). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the policy of providing accident compensation by Jasa Raharja Sukabumi has run quite well in terms of organization and implementation. However, socialization is still less optimal, as can be seen from the lack of information regarding the procedure for claiming accident compensation received by most people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the meaning of the Javanese traditional wedding "Temu Manten" in Dolok Ilir I, Kec. Dolok Batu Nagar. This type of research uses interpretive qualitative research methods, and uses semiotic research methods, namely an analytical method to examine a sign and meaning in the object being studied based on facts in the field, namely the Javanese Traditional Wedding Procession "Temu Manten" in Dolok Ilir I, Kec. Dolok Batu Nagar. Data were collected using textbooks, references related to research. Based on the discussion and results, it is known that at the Javanese Traditional Wedding Procession "Temu Manten" in Dolok Ilir I, kec. Dolok Batu Nanggar, has a very deep meaning for the bride and groom and their families. In the procession, it can be seen that men are more in the household than women, and there are myths such as what Roland Barthes said that myths exist but do not know the truth, and in the Temu Manten procession, and in this procession the myth of Roland Barthes works that according to community belief, after carrying out the "temu manten" wedding procession, they have a harmonious, peaceful and harmonious household. But at this time for ordinary people, there are not a few who do not use this procession, because the event maker does not want to be complicated with all the existing affairs and requirements. However, there are still many people who advocate and use the Temu Manten ceremony and do not abandon the traditions that have been passed down and have been preserved, especially the people outside the island of Java.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Improving the Management Capacity of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) in Sagaranten District, Sukabumi Regency". The purpose of this study is to explain the capacity building of a public organization, namely a village-owned enterprise (BUMDES). Most BUMDes in Sagaranten sub-district seem to be just joining in or being talkative, which is when the BUMDes institutions and management have been established, but the potential that exists in their village areas has not been explored. So that after the formation of BUMDes, they cannot create business units or programs to utilize the potential of their own village, to provide benefits in accordance with the principles and objectives of BUMDes to the local community. The theory used to measure an increase in the capacity of an organization is the theory of capacity building written by Marilee S. Grindle (1997). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the mobilization carried out in carrying out business activities has not been maximized, and the control is not optimal. Because some of the planned business programs are not in accordance with the potential that exists in the village. Thus, the management of BUMDes has not been running and achieving its objectives according to the BUMDes principles. Keywords : Capacity Building, Village Owned Enterprises,

Abstract

ABSTRACT Open Bidding is the process of filling high leadership positions openly within government agencies. The Personnel and Human Resources Development Department of Sukabumi City and the Selection Committee are the implementers of the Open Bidding policy responsible for implementing the Open Bidding policy. In 2021 Sukabumi City had the advantage of clinching the 1st place in the 2021 BKN Award for the Personnel’s National Coordination, meaning that the implementation of the Open Bidding policy in Sukabumi City is excellent. The research was aimed at finding out the implementation of Open Bidding in filling vacancies in office positions within the Government of Sukabumi City. The research method used was qualitative research method with descriptive approach. The techniques of collecting data applied in the research were observation, interview, and documentation. The techniques of validating data of the research deployed data triangulation techniques and technical triangulation techniques. The techniques of analyzing data were conducted through the process of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The data were analyzed qualitatively by applying an approach of the theory of implementation from Edward III. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Open Bidding within the Regional Government of Sukabumi City has been running effectively observed from the communication built has been performing well, the human resources have been met, the disposition conducted has been going well, the bureaucratic structure has been implemented in accordance with the Operational Standards Procedure (SOP) in the set regulations that have been set. Abstract

This study aims to show how organizational communication works during the covid-19 pandemic, and this study will show how the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic period on organizational communication. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive to obtain data and information about the Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic Period on the Communications of the UINSU CRNTV Organization (Case Study of UINSU CRNTV Members). In this study, it was found that the Covid-19 pandemic had a serious impact on the intensity of communication within an organization. In the UINSU CRNTV organization itself, during the Covid-19 pandemic the communication was not good, due to the lack of activity from some members. This is due to several obstacles, including an unstable network, even for reasons that are out of control, because all activities are carried out online..
