Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang betujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dan partisipasi siswa pada pembelajaran kimia melalui model make a match. Melalui model ini siswa berperan aktif dengan mencari pasangan dari kartu soal yang dimiliki dan menuliskan pasangan jawaban dalam lembar kerja, hal ini dilakukan hingga 10 sesion. Penelitian ini berlangsung 2 siklus. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata pada tes awal sebesar 67,77 dengan persentase ketuntasan 8 %, setelah melalui proses tindakan pada siklus 1 diperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,06 dengan persentase ketuntasan 61, 11 % dan pada siklus 2 diperoleh nilai rata-rata 81,03 dengan persentase ketuntasan 94,44 %. Dapat terlihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran tidak hanya berfokus pada guru tapi juga pada siswa. Konsekuensi dari hasil yang diperoleh pada upaya tersebut maka guru merupakan kunci dari permasalahan yang dihadapi. Guru harus mampu berada pada titik sentral dalam mengatur, mengarahkan dan menciptakan susana belajar yang efektif dan menyenagkan. Memberi ruang yang banyak bagi siswa dalam mengekplorasi pembelajaran

Abstract

The phytochemical test, brine shrimp lethality test and antioxidant activity test on secondary metabolits of terap (Artocarpus odoratissimus B.)leaves have been completed. The leaves samples are extracted by masseration method that is concentrated by using rotary evaporator. The total extract are fractioned with n-hexane and ethyl acetate. Based on secondary metabolits phytochemical test of terap (Artocarpus odoratissimus B.)leaves showed that total extract, n-hexane fraction extract andEthyl Acetat fraction extractcontains steroid and flavonoid. In brine shrimp lethality test, the increase larvae death data was recorded and processed using SAS Probit Analysis to determine the Lethal Concentration 50 % (LC 50 ) value. The results of this test showed that the most active extract is metanol extract with LC 50 value of 110,5176ppm. Based on the antioxidant activity by scavenging activity of DPPH used spectrophotometry was obtained that Inhibition Concentration 50% (IC 50 ) of total extract is 563,57 ppm, extract of n-hexane fraction is 631,87 ppm and extract of ethyl acetat fraction is 45,30 ppm.

Abstract

A research has been conducted with a title .The activity of extract and fractions of Sonneratia leaf (Sonneratia caseolaris L.) as an antioxidant. This research aims to know the activity of extract and fractions of Sonneratia leaves as an antioxidant against the free radical DPPH. The Sonneratia leaves powder was extracted using maceration tool with methanol solvent. The methanolic extract fractioned with n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and n-butanol solvents. Testing of antioxidant activity is performed with the DPPH method (1,1-Diphenyl-2-Picrylhydrazyl) by spectrophotometry. Absorbance measurement was conducted with spectrophotometry at the wave length 516 nm. Data was analyzed with linear regression to obtain values of IC50. The result of research showed that the extract and fractions of Sonneratia leaves have activity as an antioxidant with the IC50 value of methanolic extract was 21,62 ppm, n-hexane fraction was 82,36 ppm, ethyl acetate fraction was 13,41 ppm, and n-butanol fraction was 13,04 ppm. The test samples which provide the best antioxidant activity is the fraction of n-butanol.

Abstract

Performance of Indonesian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) with occupational accidents and occupational diseases as the main indicators has not been satisfactory. The main factors causing occupational accidents and occupation disease are human factors and environmental factors. Without prejudice to the human factors, the purposes of the study are to determine the relationship of physical and chemical environmental factors against the performance of OHS and its contribution to the performance of OHS. Analytical survey with cross sectional approach to Plywood Companies in East Kalimantan. Obtained a significant relationship between the physical and chemical environment variables with OHS performance (p = 0.043) and contribute 38.2% of the OHS performance.

Abstract

Kuersetin dan Hesperitin merupakan turunan dari senyawa Flavonoid yang berbeda kelas, Kuersetin kelas Alkohol, sedangkan Hesperetin kelas Alkanon. Docking Molekular, suatu ilmu penelitian secara in silico atau via perangkat lunak (program komputer) dan ditujukan untuk memprediksikan interaksi antara ligan (key) dengan reseptor (lock) dari ikatan hidrogen yang terbentuk. Autodock VINA adalah salah satu program Docking Molekular yang ada, diciptakan oleh Dr. Oleg Trott untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu pengerjaan dan akurasi dalam analisa. Dalam penelitian ini masing-masing dari senyawa Kuersetin dan Hesperitin akan di-Docking terhadap dua macam contoh reseptor, sel kanker otak (1S63) dengan ligan aslinya 778 dan sel kanker paru-paru (2ITO) dengan ligan aslinya IRESSA, terlebih dahulu dilakukan optimasi geometri, minimisasi energi juga validasi metode. Penelitian iniditujukan untuk menjelaskan perbandingan Kuersetin, Hesperitin dan ligan-ligan asli sebagai kandidat bahan obat anti kanker. Percobaan Docking, memberikan hasil Kuersetin dan Hesperitin membentuk ikatan hidrogen terhadap asam amino dari masing-masing reseptor. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Kuersetin dan Hesperitin memiliki kemampuan sebagai inhibitor, terutama pada sel kanker paru-paru (2ITO), karena potensi keduanya lebih baik dari ligan IRESSA. Walaupun Kuersetin dan Hesperitin tak memiliki potensi lebih baik dari ligan 778 pada sel kanker paru-paru, keduanya masih dapat digunakan sebagai bahan obat alternatif dari anti kanker.

Abstract

Emulsification activity, drop collapsing as well as oil displacement test were used to determine biosurfactant producing bacteria consortium activity from palm oil mill effluent (POME). Samples were collected from waste water treatment in PTPN XIII Palm Oil Mill Factory, Paser Regency, EastKalimantan, Indonesia. Total of six samples were screened in order to find out which consortium was producing biosurfactant. All of the samples were showing activity in the drop collapsing method, but only sample #5 and #6 were showing Emulsification activity of 50 and 14%, respectively. Moreover,sample #5 and #6 were showing oil displacement activity which have 0.37 cm and 0.26 cm in diameter, respectively.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of obtained the physical – chemical parameter change water quality caused by the coagulant dose variant. Issues raised in this study is a variation of the added coagulant dose on each raw water samples with dose of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 60 ml. Raw water is obtained from Cendana Intake as much as 6 samples, and then the other raw water is obtained from Palaran Intake as much as 6 samples. Of each raw water sample obtained reported on the weather conditions, and ebb & flow river conditions at the time of data collect. Obtained data analyzed using anova test to find out the availability of influence resulting from coagulant dose variant : (a) Raw water turbidity parameter with a value F cal 33,61 and F table 1,82 (0,05), 2,32(0,01). Raw water color parameter with a value F cal 32,15 dan F table 1,82 (0,05), 2,32(0,01). Raw water pH parameter with a value F cal 260 dan F table 1,82 (0,05), 2,32(0,01). F cal value > F table value at all anova test for each parameter indicates that coagulant additions greatly affect turbidity and color parameters change derived raw water suitable standard PERMENKES/No.492/PER IV/2010 about drink water (turbidity 5 NTU and color 15 PtCo). While the addition of coagulant in the raw water will lower the pH of the water, up to add lime or soda ash to raise the pH. In total all raw water samples with turbidity 30 – 80 ppm each matching derived optimal dose distribution average as big 20 – 35 ppm.

Abstract

The leaves samples are extract with solvent methanol by masseration method and that is concentrated by using rotary evaporator. The methanol crude extract obtained are fractioned with solvent n-hexane and. Solvent ethyl acetat.Based on secondary metabolits phytochemical test of kelakai leaves showed that methanol raw extract contains steroid, alkaloid and flavonooid. n-hexane fraction extract contains steroid and alkaloid Ethyl acetat fraction extract contains alkaloid, steroid, flavonoid and saponin.In brine shrimp lethality test, the increase larvae death and data was yielded recorded and processed using SAS Probit Analysis to determine the lethal concentration 50 % (LC 50 ) value. The results of this test obtained data and showed that the most active fraction is ethyl acetat fraction extract withvalue of LC 50 was equel to 88,8477 ppm.Based on the antioxidant activity conducted by scavenging activity of DPPH usedspectrophotometry. Based on the result be held researched was obtained that Inhibition Concentration 50% (IC 50 ) that methanol raw extract value of 185,92 ppm, n-hexane fraction value of 520,64 ppm and athyl acetat fraction 107,49 ppm and vitamin C is value of 3,064 ppm, can be axpressed that the result of this test showed that the most active fraction is ethyl acetat with value of IC 50 equel to 107,49 ppm.

Abstract

Has done antioksidan’s activity test of various fraction one that stem of andong leaf (Cordyline Fruticosa (L.) A. Chev.) that indigenous botanical samarinda’s garden. Andong leaf sample at extraction with etanol then concentrated by rotary evaporator. Extract afterwards ethanol at fraction crude with n-hexane and acetat ethyl. Base of antioksidan activity test with DPPH radical scavenging method by spectrophotometer, showed thet the most active fraction is the fraction of ethylacetate which have antioxidant activity EC 50 = 157.72 µg / mL. It is classified as moderate when compared with vitamin E that has antioxidant activity about EC 50 = 37.3 µg / mL.
