Abstract

Direct elections of regional heads is synonymous with the campaign to sell the product, the idea of social change, as well as leadership candidates. The goal is to obtain the support of the voters. It's just reality, many campaigns to attack political opponents in the form of black campaign through a variety of media, including SMS (Short Message Service). It also occurs in Makassar Mayor Election 2013. This interesting phenomenon to be studied in order to get an overview of discourse black campaign in the local elections. This study uses discourse analysis to refer to the concept Van Dijk. The study says that there are 12 SMS containing black campaign during the election campaign the Mayor of Makassar 1 -18 September 2013. The entire SMS is aimed at the 2 pair that is only mayoral candidate pair number 2 is SUKA (Supomo Guntur and Kadir Halid) and a couple mayor serial number 9 is NOAH (Irma Yasin Limpo and Busrah Abdullah). Prominent theme of this message is a resistance movement dynasty of Sahrul Yasin Limpo and Nurdin Halid and rejection of corruption. The entire message clearly illustrates the negative image of both the Makassar mayor candidates.Keywords: Interpretation, Black Campaign, SMS, Elections.

Abstract

SMEs as one pillar of the national economy received significant attention by government. One focus of the development of SMEs by the government is increasing mastery in the information technology area. Development of information technology in the field of marketing products on the internet, especially through Social Media, the government (institution builder SMEs) is necessary to determine first the level of Social Media utilization by SMEs in reality. Thus, both government and SMEs could determine the most appropriate action that meet their needs. The study was conducted by filling out the questionnaire by 105 SMEs in the graduate participant at Industrial Training Surabaya. As a result, found there are 4 levels of SMEs in the Social Media utilization as a tool to market products over the internet.Keywords : Marketing through Social Media, internet marketing for SMEs products, SMEs levels of Social Media utilization.

Abstract

This study discusses about information security awareness measurement of civil cervant. Assessment of information security awareness determined using Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). MCDA method calculate the total value of some alternatives based on value and weight some criteria. The results showed that information security awareness’s level of civil servant in Government of Makassar is “avarage”. It means action probability required. Abstract

Controversies news about the President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) becomes a contentious issue in the Indonesian media. This article describes and analyzes the framing of SBY verbally and nonverbally in the news of Metro TV and TV One during in 2013. This research uses framing analysis “Television News” model (Dunan & Adnan, 2013) and the inductive qualitative analysis with matrix method (Van Gorp, 2010). This study revealed three media perspectives are SBY as an individual, politician, and the president. News media broadcasting tend to bias and ambiguous when interprets SBY as the president who is also a politician or vice versa. Bias of SBY’s framing tends to be influenced political ideological basis of the television media owner. Keywords: media framing, President, television news, verbal and non verbal

Abstract

Government Public Relations as a communicator plays an important role in the era of self-reliance. Strategic role of government public relations is needed in achieving good governance. Increase in dengue hemorrhagic fever cases in the city of Padang has reached an alarming circumstance. To prevent and control this case required the cooperation of all parties supported by the active participation of the community. Government Public relations play an important role in helping to prevent and control dengue programs including : health campaigns, coordination with local government working units, media cooperation , building a positive image, and negotiations with the private sector. Only the reality is the role of government public relations in helping the prevention and control of dengue successfull, has not come out, more focus to the work of public relations existing routin .
