Abstract

History are often used as setting in literature work like comics, one of them isMadomowazeru Batafurai. The comic reflected the negative impact of Japanese invasionon the Shouwa era againts Japanese society. By using the theory of postcolonialism, thecomic is analyzed from the point of view of history to see the Shouwa era’s historyreflection and the negative impact of Japanese invasion. According to the result of theanalysis the Shouwa era’s history reflection in the comic are the negative impact ofJapanese invasion which reflected in Madomowazeru Batafurai comic are great hungerin Japan, coup in the capital, China-Japan War, Pacific War, and Sea Battle Philippine.The social impact of Japanese invasion are sending Japanese young men to the warbattlefield, limited goods and the lack of foods, decreasing of jobs, the peoples are losttheir homes, and many victims. The psychology impact of Japanese invasion are worriesthe family of the young men at war, sadness the family left war, depressed Japaneseyoung men, and deep sorrow for the death of the family in the war.

Abstract

The language is closely connected with the community. The language isgrowing due to the public as his supporters. Therefore, the position and the functionof language in society. Functions of the language for communication in General, buta detailed language serves as a function of culture, community, private andeducation. As with any old Javanese which has its own rank and functions in thetenggerese community residing in the neighborhood of Mount Bromo, East Java.According to interviews, the tenggerese people still using the old Javanese inconversation even though not all old Javanese word they use. However, elements ofthe old Javanese still lumpy. Old Javanese elements found in the form of the wordsincluded in the word class of verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbialen, numeralia,particles and conjunctions.

Abstract

Dictionary Bali Indonesia in Ceremony of Mapandes aim to to documentBalinese words in the field of ceremony of mapandes. Expected later this research goodfor generation hereinafter to become information center about ceremony of mapandes aswell as expected this research can be continued by next generation to be completedagain, morely special again, this research aim to for the description of words inceremony of mapandes and of description wprds which used in ceremony of mapandes.Used method that is data collecting method. Process data collecting with techniquerecord and technique note. Data which have been collected later, then analysed withmethod analyse data that is with system of corpus, card - gathered to be card to becompiled by alfabetis, then given nymph in the form of word equivalent or clearboldness. Data which have been analysed, then presented with informal and formalmethod.Used theory that is structural theory, developed by Ferdinand de Saussure. Itsviews collected by Charles Bally and of Albert Sechehaye in book entitling publishedCours de Lingusitique Generale in 1916. This theory used because each;every wordsformed of smallest process that is morpheme, then or word of lexeme, generation word,and there also which in the form of word aliance. Theory of Leksikologi and ofleksikografi also very is supporting this research because science studying about lexiconor vocabulary leksikologi. While way of making dictionary discussed in theory ofLeksikografi.From result of research, got words form which in the form of headword,generation word ( afiksasi, reduplikasi, kompositum), and phrase. Form which at mostfound that is elementary form / headword. Amount of found entri that is counted 534entri.

Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas tentang jenis-jenis asal mula kata sifat dan fungsi katasifat. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah sebuah majalah yangberjudul ‘Now Bali’. Data dikumpulkan dengan beberapa tahap dan dianalisa secararinci menggunakan kajian teori dari Quirk et.al (1985) dalam buku yang berjudul AComprehensive Grammar of the English Language dan Quirk dan Greenbaum (1973)dalam buku yang berjudul A University Grammar of English.Analisa dalam skripsi ini menemukan bahwa ada 10 jenis akhiran yangmembentuk kata sifat yang ditemukan pada skripsi ini, akhiran-akhiran tersebut adalah –full, -less, -able, -ous, -ive, -al, -y, -ic, -ly, dan –ish. Akhiran-akhiran tersebutmempunyai definisi masing-masing dan bisa dipasangkan dengan kata bendaatau kata kerja untuk membentuk kata sifat. Pada skripsi ini ditemukan 2 fungsikata sifat, yaitu atributip dan predikatip. Terdapat 2 jenis kata sifat yangberfungsi sebagai predikatip, yaitu pelengkap subyek dan pelengkap objek.

Abstract

This article analyzed the moral aspect in a novel entitled Incest written by I WayanArtika in which it is literal sociology study. The problems analyzed in this study included howthe moral of the characters in society and the influence of the characters towards thecommunity in the novel. The background of analyzing this novel was due to the existence ofsocietal aspect in the novel and to elaborate how the novel itself and also how the writerdescribe the traditional values which are related to ‘kembar buncing’ in a modern life. Theresult from the analysis showed that Incest is an illustration of human’s way of thinkingwhich still focusing on the old tradition and showed the effect of things done in community.The methodology used in this article, firstly, was done by obtaining data using readingtechnique, listen and take note towards the resources. And then followed by describing thefacts found in the field and analyzed it deeper. The discussion part talked about the goodcharacters of Geo dan Bulan who wanted to built up the village to recover. Differ from themanners of the grandfather from Nyoman Sika who showed bad manner, for example,stealing things from the Temple which caused the grandchildren from that old man was born‘kembar buncing’.
