Abstract

The Comparative Analysis of Broiler Farmer Income between Breeders Parthership with PT MSJ and PT PKP Poultry is one of the most livestock business which most of efficiently developed to support the community's economy. However, a lot of risks encountered in poultry. In reducing the risks of loss and to stabilizing income through a partnership between breeder and partner companies likes PT Mitra Sinar Jaya and PT Primatama Karya Persada. This research refers to breeder who partnership with PT Mitra Sinar Jaya and PT Primatama Karya Persada which aims to analyze the comparative of poultry’s income through grouping broilers population based on business scale. Population which grouped into a business scale are 2.000 – 5.000 chickens, 6.000 – 9.000 chickens and 10.000 – 13.000 chickens. For location determination was carried out using the census method on four breeders who partnership with PT Mitra Sinar Jaya and using the accidental sampling method on six breeders who partnership with PT Primatama Karya Persada. The result of this research indicate that income of business scale from 2.000 – 5.000 chickens in PT MSJ were Rp22.292.388/period and breeder from PT PKP were Rp20.885.480/period. On a bussines scale from 6.000 – 9.000 chickens income earned by breeder form PT MSJ were Rp38.232.413/period and breeder from PT PKP were Rp25.887.416/period. And then, income of business scale from 10.000 – 13.000 chicken from PT MSJ were Rp51.014.233/period and breeder from PT PKP were Rp71.309.400/period. The result of the Mann-Whitney statistically is insignificant.

Abstract

The Product Marketing Strategy for Laying Chicken Livestock in Senganan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency The laying chicken breeders in Senganan Village face problems that are still not resolved, including marketing has not met the desired target, farmers have not maximized existing technology, and business capital is still limited, and lack of manpower. The purpose of this research was to determine the internal and external factors faced by laying hens in marketing their products and to formulate strategies to promote their production. The data collection technique used in this research is the survey method with the method of determining the sample with saturated sampling. The data analysis method used in this research is the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis method and the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis method. The results showed that (1) Internal factors were divided into two, namely strength factors, namely egg quality and customer relations, while the main weakness was that marketing had not met the target. External factors are divided into two, namely the opportunity factor which describes that the demand for eggs is very high but all of it can’t be fulfilled, while the main threat is price fluctuations, especially the price of feed and vaccine. (2) The marketing strategy for laying hens for a small scale is to good plan marketing and build good relationships with buyers. For medium scale by planning the chicken coop layout in accordance with regulations but still optimizing maintenance of the cage to get good eggs quality and determine sales strategy. For large scale, by offering an attractive work and salary system for prospective workers, including the provision of performance bonuses when using workers.

Abstract

Analysis of Factors Affecting the Growth Rate of the Agricultural Sector in the GRDP of Klungkung Regency The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the growth rate of the agricultural sector in the GRDP of Klungkung Regency. The variables used in this study were dry milled unhulled rice production, rice field area, and labor. The research data used is data contained in related agencies from 2011-2019 for 9 years and is taken from agencies such as the Central Statistics Agency, the Klungkung Regency Agriculture Service, and others. This research was conducted by means of multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the growth rate of the agricultural sector in the GDRP of Klungkung Regency was influenced by various factors consisting of the production of milled dry unhulled rice, rice field area, and agricultural labor. The results of this study mean that the more production of milled dry unhulled rice, the more paddy fields owned by the farmers and the more agricultural labor, the higher the growth rate of the agricultural sector in the GDRP of Klungkung Regency. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended for local governments to increase agricultural sector revenues starting with protecting and increasing the area of ??rice fields, developing labor productivity to increase dry milled grain production so that the GRDP growth rate of the agricultural sector in Klungkung Regency can increase.

Abstract

Analysis of paddy Supply in Bali Province The agricultural sector, especially the food crops sub-sector, has an important rolein meeting the needs of carbohydrates and as a source of nutrition for sustainability human life. One of the main food crops consumed in Indonesia is paddy. Therefore, paddy should be a commodity that is of concern because it relates to the needs of many people. However, the Province of Bali has not yet become an area food self-sufficient because their paddy production from year to year actually suffers decline, thus affecting the supply of paddy. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence supply in the Province of Bali and to determine the level of sensitivity (elasticity) of paddy supply in Bali Province. Research method using quantitative data with secondary data sources time series (14 years). Data collection using recording techniques and also document review. Data analysis study used multiple linear regression analysis to determine the factors that affect the supply of paddy in the Province of Bali and the elasticity of the supply of paddy in the Province Bali. The results show the amount of production in the previous year, the harvested area in the previous year, the price of corn in the previous year, the price of soybeans inpreviously, the price of urea fertilizer in the previous year jointly affected on rice supply in Bali Province. While the amount of production in previously, individually significantly influenced paddy supply in Bali Province. The value of elasticity of paddy supply in Bali Province for the variable amount of paddy production inthe previous year, the harvested area in the previous year was inelastic, the price of corn in the previous year, the price of soybeans in the previous year, urea fertilizer in the year of planting is inelastic.

Abstract

Factors Influence Consumers Decisions in Purchasing Organic Vegetables in the Modern Market of Denpasar City Organic vegetables are one of the products produced from agriculture that are environmentally friendly and closer to the concept of nature, so that it can provide a guarantee of good quality compared to ordinary vegetables. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables and the most dominant factors influencing consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables in the Modern Market of Denpasar City. The data in this study consisted of qualitative data and quantitative data obtained from primary data sources and secondary data. The sampling technique was done by accidental sampling and obtained 50 respondents. The analysis technique used is SEM-PLS. The dependent variable (Y) is the consumers decisions and the independent variable (X) is price, product quality, location, service, and attitude. The results showed that the variables of price, product quality, and service had a significant effect, while the variables of location and attitude had no significant effect. The dominant variable that influences consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables in the Denpasar Modern Market is the price variable. Suggestions for this research are expected in the Modern Market can pay attention to the prices offered. Affordable prices supported by friendly service and appropriate product quality. The location is expected to be easy to reach and the attitude is well received.

Abstract

The Social Impact of Tourism on Subak and Comparison of Farmers' Household Income in the Agricultural Sector and the Tourism Sector (Case Study in Subak Teges, Peliatan Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency) Tourism is a sector that significantly contributes to the economic growth of Bali Province. The development of tourism will also develop other related sectors, such as agriculture, livestock, plantation and handicraft. Farmers in Subak Teges, Peliatan Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency for instance, have experienced the economic benefits generated by tourism development. This study aims to see the impact of tourism on subak, particularly the function of subak, as well as to compare the farmer households’ income from the agricultural and the tourism sectors. The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling involving 41 respondents. The data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The study results show that tourism provides significant changes to the five functions of subak. The household income of farmers working in the agricultural sector and the tourism sector differs significantly (t-test shows a significance of 0.000). The average household income of farmers in the agricultural sector is only Rp. 1,282,635 per month, while in the tourism sector it is Rp. 3,113,415 per month. The annual farmer households income in the agricultural sector is Rp. 15,391,623, while in the tourism sector it is Rp. 37,360,976. For that reason, it is important for Subak Teges to maintain the synergy between agriculture and tourism by promoting Subak as a tourism destination and preserving rice fields.

Abstract

The Impact of Land Functions on the Existence of Subak Kedungu, Pererenan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency Subak is very thick in community life in Bali. Subak is closely related to Tri Hita Karana, which is a guideline for the community in religious social activities carried out by the indigenous community in Bali.The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of land use change and the causes of land use change on the existence of Subak Kedungu in terms of social, economic and technical aspects.The location of this research was conducted in Subak Kedungu, Pererenan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency from November 2020 to January 2021.The selection of the research location was carried out by using the perposive method using key informants.The determination of informants in this study involved all elements related to the Kedungu Subak, such as members of the subak, subak landowners, subak members who sold land, tenants, tenants, subak institutions, and village institutions.The results showed the causes of land conversion that occurred in Subak Kedungu, among others, an increase in the number of family members, an increase in community needs, and a decrease in the interest of young people in Pererenan Village to replace their parents as farmers.Meanwhile, the impact of land conversion that occurs is that the social aspects do not have an impact on the community, the economic aspect of income from farming does not experience a reduction, and the technical aspects are not too affected because basically the members of Subak Kedungu only plant rice.

Abstract

Farmers’ Behavior Toward the Implementation of Tri Hita Karana in Preserving Subak in Tourism Regions (The Case of Subak Andong, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency) The rapid globalization and growth of tourism have had an impact on the existence of subaks in Bali. Land use change is one of the challenges to preserve subak as a communal organization of Balinese farmers. This study aims to determine the behavior of farmers towards the implementation of Tri Hita Karana in an effort to preserve subaks in tourism areas, especially Subak Andong, which is located in Ubud District, Gianyar Regency. The scope of this research covers the behavior of Subak Andong members, including knowledge, attitude, and application of Tri Hita Karana in an effort to preserve Subak. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Based on the research results, it is known that the behavior of the farmers of Subak Andong is very good. The behavioral scores on all categories, i.e., knowledge (86.3%), attitude (85.9%), application (87.1%), are high. The behavior of Subak Andong farmers towards Tri Hita Karana shows a very good result, so that efforts to preserve Subak Andong can go hand in hand with the development of tourism in the area. It is hoped that the behavior of members in Subak Andong will be maintained.

Abstract

Visitor’s Perception of Tourism Attraction in Subak Sembung Ecotourism in The New Normal Era Denpasar city has environmentally based tourist attraction (ecotourism) subak agriculture in the middle of the city that is visited by many people. However, tourist behavior changes in the normal new era. So this study aims to determine the perception of visitors to the tourist attraction in Agrotourism Subak Sembung in the new normal era. The research was conducted at Agrotourism Subak Sembung in March 2021. A close questionnaire is used in data collection, which is distributed directly and filled out online through Google Form. A sample of 100 respondents are taken with nonprobability sampling techniques. The data is collected then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques with likert scale and SPSS 21 software. The results indicate that the average percentage of the entirety description of the respondents' answers covering the three aspects in these variables are 71.3% in the agreement category that the Covid 19 virus prevention facilities and infrastructure in the Subak Sembung Agrotourism area have not met the standards. Visitors also agree that if the addition of these facilities and infrastructure will make visitors feel safer and more comfortable in visiting, even though some visitors have obeyed health protocols for themselves.

Abstract

The Analysis of Agrotourism Development Potential in Batan Wani Subak (irrigation system), Sading Village, Mengwi, Badung Regency Agrotourism is defined as a combination of agriculture and tourism. The potential of rice fields in Batan Wani Subak (irrigation system) can be applied as an opportunity to develop agritourism, yet there are conditions that need to be filled, namely the 4A aspects such as attraction, accessibility, amenity, and ancillary. The aims of this study were to identify the potential in Subak Batan Wani in developing Agrotourism also strategies in developing its Agrotourism. The data was analyzed by descriptive-qualitative method and SWOT analysis. Based on the research results, the potential in the Subak Batan Wani that can be developed as agrotourism includes, there are accessibility (affordability), amenity (facilities and infrastructure) travel agents also attractions (attractions) culture, agrarian and natural tourist attractions in the form of air in the cool and beautiful Subak area which is the strengths and weaknesses that there is no unique agricultural activity. The opportunity factor for the Kereban Langit Temple tourist attraction and the mepeed tradition (walking and in hand) in the village, while the threat factor that must be anticipated was the occurrence of tourist density. An alternative strategy that can be employed is the S – O strategy, namely promoting through social media such as Instagram, Facebook related to the location of Batan Wani subak and utilizing the tracking on Subak, providing shops, washing hands, checking body temperature considering to the current Covid-19 pandemic, and forming a tourism agency.Suggestions are needed for the further development namely by making unique and distinctive attractions, in example making photo spots. Support from other parties in the development of Agrotourism in Batan Wani subak, especially the government agencies.
