Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis of Rice Supplies in Public Corporation BULOG Regional Division of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) Rice is the basic requirements that must be met for humans at all times. BULOG as State Owned Enterprises have a primary duty, which is to undertake logistic staple food quality and maintain food stability. The purpose of this study are to (1) determine rice procurement in BULOG NTT, (2) analyze the inventory system of rice by BULOG NTT focused on the economic order quantity (EOQ), minimum stock, maximum stock, and reorder point, (3) the efficiency cost of rice supplies by BULOG NTT which focused on the actual inventory cost effective inventory costs. The method of analysis used in this experiment is a quantitative and qualitative analysis. The study was conducted at BULOG NTT, which is located on Jl. Palapa No 14 Oebobo, Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Rice purchasing by BULOG NTT started by making a procurement contract with the contractor. The study found that the economical rice booking is 816,65 ton for once, while the amount of safety stock that must be held by BULOG NTT is 35.731,71 ton and maximum inventory that can be managed is 42.813,65 ton. The total cost incurred by rice supplies by BULOG NTT in 2011 was Rp 664.785.013,15 while the analysis of the optimal inventory control cost of Rp 661.160.200,24. So there is the cost efficiency of Rp 3.624.813,01.   Keyword: economic order quantity, BULOG, rice procurement

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Difference Of Income On Farm Eucheuma spinosum and Eucheuma cottonii Seaweed In Kutuh Village The District Of South Kuta This experiment aimed to find out the difference of income on farm Eucheuma spinosum and Eucheuma cottonii seaweed in Kutuh village and the reasons which led farmers is more choose to cultivate Eucheuma cottonii compared Eucheuma spinosum. The method of analysis used in this experiment is a quantitative and qualitative analysis. U test analysis results state that there are significant differences between the income on farm Eucheuma spinosum seaweed with on farm Eucheuma cottonii seaweed in Kutuh village. The average gross farm income Eucheuma spinosum seaweed is Rp 1.217.317,07 whereas Eucheuma cottonii is Rp 2.419.385,07, with the difference is Rp 1.202.068 per 5 are in a one cycle production (45 days). Average net farm income Eucheuma spinosum seaweed Rp 752.426,32 whereas Eucheuma cottonii Rp 1.983.267,99, with the difference is Rp 1.230.841,67 per 5 are in a one cycle production (45 days). The reason farmers seaweed more choose Eucheuma cottonii seaweed among other technical aspects, namely the availability of seeds is more, the economic aspects of the marketing of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed more demand and higher selling prices than Eucheuma spinosum.   Keyword : Eucheuma spinosum, Eucheuma cottonii, income

Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial Analysis of Cattle Production in the Cooperative Integrated Agribusiness in Subak Guama Tabanan Regency The prospects of entrepreneur in  Bali every year  is very bright since there is an increase demand for beef Bali. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of Bali cattle managed by cooperatives Subak Guama financially and to identify the constraints faced in implementing  cattle fattening. The choice of location in this study using purposive sampling method on feedlot Balinese. Once all the required data collected, then analyzed using investment criteria are: NPV, Net B / C Ratio, IRR and sensitivity analysis. The study found that NPV = 13.115.654,93; B/C Ratio = 1,10; IRR = 2.667.924,53 and Sensitivity Analysis found that  NPV = 7.815.750,31; BC Ratio = 1,05; IRR = 1.355.283,00 if the total cost increase. NPV = -22.677.658,61; BC Ratio = 0,77; IRR = -6.128.301,89 if the gross benefit decrease. The problem faced economic problem and social problem. With the establishment of  the Cooperatives there is  a positive impact for the community Batannyuh village, such as  the number of people who become employees of the Cooperative, and avoiding farmers from debt bondage system, which allows farmers to sell their crops to the Cooperatives, there by increasing farmers' income. Efforts can be made ??by  the cooperatives to increase livestock production by seeking manufacturing cows themselves that the cost of purchasing the seeds can be saved. In addition, to increase the income of farmers, the farmer should grow their own forage,so that production costs could be minimized. Keywords : financial, production, agribusiness

Abstract

The aims of study are to carry out the potential of Belimbing Village which is seen from four aspects those are Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat, and also to know the strategy of development of rural tourism in Belimbing Village. This study based on quantitative and qualitative method. Quantitative data was directly from observations and interviews with the questionnaires  besides, the supporting data was from library resource. Based on analysis result, Internal factors (a) strength : beautiful and conservation of nature are the most significant influence on the development of rural tourism in Belimbing Village, (b) Weakness : Belimbing village is not ready to receive the tourists, since the lack quality of the environmental cleanliness. External Factors (a) opportunity : the most important factor of opportunity is the value of the people who always maintain and preserve traditional cultural, (b) Threat : the most important threat is the threat of competition with others regions in the development of rural tourism. Based on SWOT analysis obtained the development strategy such as follows; (a) S-O strategy is the development of rural tourism in order to maintain the attraction and promotion in Belimbing village. (b) W-O Strategy is to improve the facilities and infrastructure, (c) S-T strategy is outreach to the local people, in order to increase security and defense, (d) W-T strategy is the strategy of administration and management of Belimbing village as well as language training and tour guiding to the local people. Therefore, the priority that can be done in developing rural tourism and to maintain its attraction by providing tourism packages or tracking map and also to order the local are properly.   Keyword : potential, SWOT analysis, tourism village
