Abstract

Kemacetan lalu lintas dapat dipicu oleh adanya sarana fasilitas untuk kebutuhan masyarakat yang disebabkan beberapa sektor seperti sektor transportasi, industri, dan perdagangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : (1) Lokasi kemacetan. (2) Faktor penyebab kemacetan. (3) Tingkat kemacetan dengan menggunakan tingkat pelayanan jalan (level of services). (4) Waktu terjadinya kemacetan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah jaringan jalan yang merupakan titik kemacetan melewati ruas jalan Semarang- Demak, sedangkan metode yang digunakan metode observasi dan metode dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif yaitu memberikan gambaran terhadap kondisi sistem transportasi di Kecamatan Genuk, dan metode kuantitatif dengan menghitung volume lalu lintas, tingkat pelayanan, kecepatan, dan kepadatan lalu lintas. Tingkat kemacetan lalu lintas tertinggi terdapat di pasar Genuk pada hari efektif kerja pada jam 07.00-08.00 sebanyak 11.671 kendaraan dengan tingkat pelayanan jalan sebesar 2,25 termasuk kelas F hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya aktivitas pasar pada pagi hari dan juga hari efektif kerja. Simpulan penelitian ini kemacetan terdapat di terminal Terboyo, kawasan industri, dan pasar genuk dan waktu kemacetan terjadi pada jam puncak pagi hari dan sore hari dengan karakteristik level of services F.Traffic jam can be triggered by the operation of facilities for the needs of society caused few sectors such as transport, industry, and commerce. The purpose this research was to determine: (1) Location jam. (2) Factors causing congestion. (3) The level of service traffic using the road (level of services). (4) times the occurrence of jam. The subjects in this study is that the road network through road congestion points Semarang-Demak, while the method used methods of observation and documentation methods. The analysis used in the research is descriptive method which gives an overview of the condition of the transportation system in District Genuk, and quantitative methods to calculate the volume of traffic, level of service, speed and traffic density. The highest level of traffic jam in the market are effective on the day Genuk work at 7:00 to 08:00 as much as 11 671 vehicles with the road service level of 2.25 belongs to the class F it is caused by the presence of market activity in the morning and also the effective day of work. The conclusions this research there is traffic jams in the terminal Terboyo, industrial, and market genuk and time jam occurs at peak morning and evening with a characteristic level of services F.
