Abstract

This study aims: To find out the tidal flood conditions by using a Geographic Information System. (2) Knowing the effect of tidal floods on population income. (3) Knowing adaptation strategies for rob floods. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods with simple linear regression statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the results showed that all villages in the northern part of the Tirto sub-district were affected by the tidal floods. The results of linear regression analysis between tidal flood heights and farmer farmer income showed a correlation value (R) of 0.32 and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.10 which means that both variables have a low relationship and influence. The adaptation strategy of the farmer to the tidal flood is that the community makes improvements to the pond land by means of waring, making retaining embankments and planting mangroves. The suggestion from this research is that the parameters used to determine the tidal flood area should be more complete. In addition, the development of similar studies to determine the effect of tidal flood heights with farmer farmer income must consider the ownership factors, the location of the ponds of each farmer and the productivity of the farm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the commodity empon-empon silvofarming which became the base and know the commodity of silvofarming base that can grow fast and has a change to compete in both districts in Banjarnegara Regency. This research method used was descriptive quantitative. Data analysis techniques used in this research is LQ, Shift Share and descriptive. The results of the study explained that the empon-empon silvofarming commodity is mostly able to be the base in several districts in Banjarnegara Regency and has good competitiveness because it is able to grow fast. However, empon-empon silvofarming commodity is also not yet able to become a base, but has the potential to develop. The empon-empon silvofarming commodities that are prioritized for the development of the region in Banjarnegara Regency are zingiber officinale, alpinia galanga, kaempferia galanga, zingiber zerumbet, curcuma xanthorrhiza and curcuma aeruginosa commodities.

Abstract

Sekaran village has a dense population due to the existence of Semarang State University. This has an effect on environmental conditions, especially the availability of water for daily activities that have an impact on increasing waste water. This situation affects groundwater quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of well water as drinking raw water based on mandatory parameters and analyze the effect of well construction with well water pollution. This study uses several methods of data collection, namely observation methods, questionnaires, documentation, and laboratory tests. The results of this study indicate that well water in Sekaran Village is only 7 (28%) samples that are feasible to be used as drinking raw water, 18 (72%) other samples are not feasible. Construction of well buildings shows the influence of pollutant sources, on the construction of wells that do not meet the requirements proved to be unfit for use as drinking raw water.
