Abstract

This research starts from the idea that film as an art form, naturally cannot be separated from moral values ​​with the aim of assessing a person's quality. The film Sang Pencerah tells the story of Kiai Haji Ahmad Dahlan's struggle in spreading the idea of ​​Islamic renewal in Indonesia, making it an interesting object to analyze. This research uses a semiotic analysis method, with a descriptive qualitative approach, so as to be able to understand social phenomena in depth. Primary data sources are original information in the form of films, while secondary data sources include literature that supports and is relevant to the research topic. The analysis in this research is related to the message and moral values ​​in the film Sang Pencerah. The results of the research show that the film Sang Pencerah effectively uses visual meanings such as updating the direction of the Qibla with a compass which represents rationality and correction, the use of a blackboard symbolizing modern education and liberation from ignorance, caring for street children and the poor as a form of mutual respect and love, and the accusation of infidel kiai which reinforces that truth and progress often come at the price of resistance. These findings highlight how the film Sang Pencerah not only narrates history, but also semiotically builds understanding and moral values ​​that are relevant for society.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of educational animation media in conveying moral messages and shaping children’s character from an early age, as exemplified by the animated series Nussa and Rara. The purpose of this research is to analyze the representation of bullying in the Nussa and Rara series and evaluate its impact on children’s understanding of bullying, particularly within the learning environment of Madrasah Diniyah Awaliyah Sullamul Khairiyah, Serimbu Village, Landak Regency. This study employs a qualitative approach with phenomenological method. Data were collected through observation of selected episodes related to the theme of bullying, as well as interviews with students as research subjects. Several episodes, including Stop Bullying, Jangan Menuduh, Maaf (Part 1 & 2), and Tolong dan Terima Kasih were chosen as the primary focus since they explicitly depict various forms of bullying and anti-bullying values. The findings reveal that after watching the series, children’s understanding of bullying significantly improved. They began to recognize that mocking, ignoring, and making accusations without evidence are unacceptable behaviors that can harm others emotionally and socially. The series not only represents acts of bullying but also offers solutions by modeling empathy, mutual respect, and the importance of apologizing. Thus, Nussa and Rara proves to be an effective educational medium in supporting character education and promoting early prevention of bullying.

Abstract

The prevalence of children with special needs in Indonesia is increasing, up to 10% of the total population of children. This means that about 10 out of every 100 children in Indonesia have special needs. The presence of children with special needs is a challenge in itself, which encourages all stakeholders to be able to formulate policies that favour the interests of children with special needs so that they get the same rights, especially in education as other children in general. Inclusion for all students is not just a hope, but an educational goal that must be achieved. The inclusion programme provides opportunities for children with special needs to receive education, optimise their potential and meet their learning needs, which in turn encourages the achievement of compulsory education targets. Teachers are one of the most important factors in the implementation of inclusive education, the success and achievement of education is highly dependent on the readiness of teachers as implementers of the inclusive education programme. This study aims to determine the readiness of teachers in implementing inclusive education, especially in schools. The research method used is literature review by filtering articles related to the time span 2018-2024. The results of the search for related journals were obtained as many as 8 journals which were analysed using thematic data techniques. The results of this study indicate that the readiness of teachers to implement inclusive education is still very low and unprepared. This is because teachers have no experience in teaching children with special needs. Teachers do not know the specific characteristics of children with special needs, besides that the ability of teachers is still very limited in terms of conducting assessments and identifying children's cases, developing learning programmes that suit children's needs, and the absence of training obtained by teachers to improve teachers' knowledge and abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Aqidah Akhlaq in Grade IV of MI Miftahul Ulum. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, where each cycle is a series of activities consisting of four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The data collection techniques used were written tests, interviews, observations and documentation. The subjects of this study were 30 fourth-grade students, consisting of 16 boys and 14 girls. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the process of learning Aqidah Akhlaq by applying the crossword puzzle strategy can help students understand the material easily, making learning more enjoyable and involving students to be more active in the learning process. The students' learning outcomes have improved greatly in each cycle, as seen from the average score for each cycle, which has increased. This can be seen from the comparison of student learning outcomes before the implementation of the crossword puzzle strategy, there are still many students who have not reached the minimum learning standards, as seen from the pre-cycle average score of 58.33. Then after the implementation of the crossword puzzle strategy, student learning outcomes increased, as seen from cycle I with an average of 85.33. Meanwhile, cycle II also increased from the results of cycle I, which was an average of 92.33. So, the results of this study can be concluded that the crossword puzzle strategy can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at Miftahul Ulum Islamic Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year.
