Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses, strategi, dan hambatan dalam penempatan tenaga kependidikan di Madrasah Aliyah Model Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologis. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala madrasah, kepala tata usaha, dan staf pengajaran. Tekhik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan tehnik pengumpulan data mengunakan wawancara, pengmatan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepala madrasah sudah melakukan proses pengadaan tenaga kependidikan secara sistematis mulai dari rekrutmen, seleksi dan penempatan. Strategi penempatan tenaga kependidikan dilakukan dengan cara menentukan latar belakang ijazah, mengutamakan pengalaman kerja, serta memperhatikan sikap dan penampilan dari calon tenaga kependidikan. Hambatan dalam penempatan tenaga kependidikan adalah kedisiplinan. Kata Kunci: Strategi penempatan, tenaga kependidikan, kepemimpinan Abstract. The aims of this research are to understand the process, strategy, and obstacles in the placement of educational staff in Islamic Senior High School Model of Banda Aceh. This research uses qualitative method with phenomenological design. Research subjects are head of madrasah, head of administration, and teaching staff, whose are selected by employing purposive sampling technique, menawhile the data were collected by employing observation, interview, and documentation technique. The study found that the process of procurement of education personnel are conducted systematically from recruitment, selection, and placement. The placement strategy undertaken based on staff educational background, works experiences, as well as attituda. Meanwhile, discipline is an obstacle in the process of staff placement.
