Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce module based on PBL to improve creative thinking skills which are valid, practical and effective to use in learning science. The design of this study is research and development by using 4-D model which consists of Four phase. The results of development phase, showed that module based on PBL model to improve the creative thinking skills of learners is valid by mean of (0,88), For the practicality, the mean of questionnaire responses learners towards the product was 87.20, categorized as very practical; the mean of questionnaire responses of teachers was 92.75, also categorized as very practical. The result of the develop phase showed that the product met the criteria of effectiveness as the data obtained showed that there was improvement of learners competences: cognitive, affective, psychomotor, as well as creative thinking skills. The mean value of cognitive competence was 84.00; affective competence was 84.65; and psychomotor competence was 82.73. Mean while, the mean value of creative thinking skills improvement was average and low in every meeting.

Abstract

Learning process is a fun activity where learners have the freedom to actualize themselves, develop the potential in accordance with the talent and develop it. It demands educators to be creative in creating teaching materials and media. Teaching materials that can be collaborated with the media is a worksheet student of science asissted by education card based on science edutainment. The purpose of this paper is to produce a worksheet student of science asissted by education card based on science edutainment that is valid, practical and effective. The development model used is a Plomp development model consisting of three stages of initial investigation, development and assessment phase. The validity test is at the development stage. Validity test is done through validation sheet. The result of validity test shows the a worksheet student of science asissted by education card based on science edutainment developed in valid category. Then product can be applied in learning and able to overcome all problems.

Abstract

The standard of content and the standard of process of curriculum 2013 require scientific learning and scientific learning character with more active studentsespecially in learning physics. Development model that was applied in this research was 4-D, which consists of defining, designing, developing and disseminating stages. Defining stagecovered curriculum, material and the student analysis. Designing stage covered the activity of formulating learning device in form of syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan, Module, Student Worksheet, the assessment of knowledge competition, manner, characters, and skills. On development stage the test of validity were done through validity sheet of learning device, practicality testing through observation sheet on the using lesson plan, questionnaire response of the teachers and the students, affectivity testing were obtained from the assessment of knowledge, attitude, characters, skill, and questionnaire of student’s response.
