Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of communication and the level of employee discipline as well as the influence of communication on employee work discipline at PT.Radja Jaens Saputra in Ubud Gianyar. There are 5 methods used to collect data, namely: observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature study.  The analysis techniques used are: a. Quantitative Analysis, namely an analytical technique for analyzing quantitative data, where the analytical techniques used include 1) Simple Linear Regression Analysis, 2) Simple Correlation Analysis, 3) Determination Analysis. b. Descriptive analysis techniques to explain the results of the analysis and help draw conclusions about the research results Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the operational communication process at PT Radja Jaens Saputra in Ubud Gianyar is running very well. Work discipline in operations at PT.Radja Jaens Saputra in Ubud Gianyar is good. Communication has a real or significant effect on employee work discipline at the company PT. Radja Jaens Saputra in Ubud which can be seen from the calculated t (2.859) which is greater than the t table (1.714), which is in the area where Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The effect is strong with a positive correlation coefficient of 0.512 which is between 0.51-0.75 in the strong criteria. Meanwhile, the influence relationship is positive, where one unit of communication improvement causes an increase in discipline of 0.762 units.
