Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi sarana dan prasarana pendidikan jasmani, olahraga, dan kesehatan (PJOK) di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Karang Sambung, Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah empat SMP Negeri yang berada di Kecamatan Karang Sambung, yaitu SMPN 1, SMPN 2, SMPN 3, dan SMPN 4 Karang Sambung, dengan total 930 siswa dan 5 guru PJOK. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terstruktur dengan guru PJOK. Instrumen penilaian mengacu pada Permendiknas Nomor 24 Tahun 2007 dan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP) sebagai acuan kelayakan. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan perhitungan persentase kecukupan dan kategori kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kondisi sarana dan prasarana PJOK secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori Cukup dengan rata-rata persentase 47,88%; (2) SMPN 1 Karang Sambung memiliki kondisi terbaik dalam kategori Baik (73,95%), diikuti SMPN 2 dalam kategori Cukup (55,35%), SMPN 3 (38,40%) dan SMPN 4 (23,80%) dalam kategori Kurang; (3) terdapat kesenjangan yang signifikan antar sekolah, dengan SMPN 1 memiliki kelengkapan tiga kali lebih baik dibandingkan SMPN 4; dan (4) kondisi fisik peralatan menunjukkan 78,00% layak pakai di SMPN 1, menurun drastis hingga 28,00% di SMPN 4. Disimpulkan bahwa masih terdapat ketimpangan kondisi sarana dan prasarana PJOK yang signifikan antar sekolah, khususnya antara sekolah di pusat kecamatan dan sekolah di wilayah terpencil, yang memerlukan perhatian dan intervensi kebijakan dari pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

The limited number of studies on curriculum management implementation in enhancing students’ academic achievement in madrasahs forms the background of this research, given that effective curriculum management significantly impacts educational quality and learning effectiveness. This study aims to analyze in depth the processes of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum management at MAN 2 Klaten in the context of improving academic performance. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study design was employed, involving the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that curriculum management at MAN 2 Klaten is implemented systematically through phased coaching, academic training, and reward-based evaluations that serve as positive reinforcement for learning motivation. These findings support the curriculum management theory proposed by Ornstein & Hunkins (2018) and the principle of continuous improvement in educational quality management according to Sallis (2015), suggesting that adaptive and well-planned curriculum management can enhance students’ academic achievement. The study concludes that structured curriculum management is essential as a strategy for academic development, with theoretical implications for strengthening the literature on educational management and practical implications for madrasahs in designing sustainable and contextual academic coaching programs in the era of the Kurikulum Merdeka.
