Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of sociodrama techniques in reducing verbal aggressive behavior among students in schools. Verbal aggressive behavior, which includes mocking, cursing, and insulting, is a common phenomenon in educational environments that can harm individuals' psychological well-being. This study uses a literature review method to analyze various relevant literature, focusing on the interaction between internal and external factors influencing students' verbal aggression. Findings indicate that the social environment, including peer influence and family conditions, plays a significant role in the formation of aggressive behavior.   Through the application of sociodrama techniques, students are given the opportunity to understand others' feelings and find solutions to complex social situations. Research results indicate that sociodrama is effective in reducing verbal aggressive behavior by enhancing students' social skills and emotional regulation. This study recommends the integration of sociodrama techniques into school counseling and guidance programs as a preventive and curative effort against verbal aggression, as well as emphasizing support from the school environment to create a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
