Abstract

The reconstruction of Jalan Binderang-Sungai Impat is carried out to improve the of the road. The use of heavy equipment is very important to help the work and speed up the work process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the productivity of heavy equipment and the total time in the work of the aggregate foundation layer of class A, as well as to compare the productivity of heavy equipment calculated based on theory with field data and productivity based on field implementationIn the analysis, a heavy equipment calculation method based on the Minister of PUPR Regulation No. 08 of 2023 was used to calculate theoretical productivity. In addition, observations and direct interviews were carried out in the field to obtain data on equipment working hours, types of heavy equipment, and the capacity of the tools used to calculate field productivity. For general project data, tool specifications and work volumes are obtained from the contractor or consultant.Through the results of the analysis in this study, the theoretical productivity results of heavy equipment for wheel loaders 111.27 m3/hour, dump trucks 5,303 m3/hour, motor graders 132.69 m3/hour, vibratory rollers 78.54 m3/hour and water tank trucks 71.14 m3/hour were obtained. The total theoretical time for the work of the aggregate foundation layer of class A is 3 days, while based on the implementation in the field the time required is 10 days. Based on the theorectical analysis the number of dump truck 21units while in the field the number of dump truck used is 17 units. For onther types of heavy equipment, the fleet size is the same with 1 units both in the theoretical analysis amd in the field reality. Keywords: Heavy equipment, productivity, duration, number of equipment
