Abstract

ABSTRAK: Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan menghadirkan peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi pendidikan nilai dan karakter. Artikel ini bertujuan merefleksikan penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan nilai dari perspektif humanisme Erich Fromm dengan berpijak pada hasil penelitian pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis AI pada mata kuliah Teori Pendidikan Nilai dan Karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pijakan penelitian dan pengembangan terdahulu yang menerapkan metode Research and Development (R&D) melalui model Educational Design Research (EDR). Data empiris dianalisis melalui refleksi filosofis dengan menggunakan konsep being, having, dan automaton conformity dari Erich Fromm. Hasil refleksi menunjukkan bahwa AI tidak bersifat dehumanisasi apabila digunakan sebagai medium reflektif dan dialogis, bukan sebagai pengganti peran pendidik. Sebaliknya, AI dapat memperkuat proses pemaknaan nilai, kesadaran diri, dan tanggung jawab moral peserta didik ketika diintegrasikan dalam kerangka pedagogi humanistik. Artikel ini juga menegaskan bahwa peran pendidik tetap sentral sebagai subjek pedagogis dan penjaga orientasi nilai, sementara AI berfungsi sebagai mitra pedagogis yang mendukung pembelajaran reflektif. Secara teoretis, artikel ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kajian filsafat pendidikan dengan menawarkan kerangka humanisme reflektif sebagai dasar etis penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan nilai dan karakter di era digital.ABSTRACT: The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education presents both opportunities and challenges for value and character education. This article aims to reflect on the use of AI in value education from the perspective of Erich Fromm’s humanism, grounded in the results of developmental research on an AI-based learning module implemented in the Theory of Value and Character Education course. The study adopts a qualitative approach, drawing upon prior Research and Development (R&D) employing the Educational Design Research (EDR) model. Empirical data are examined through a philosophical reflection using Erich Fromm’s concepts of being, having, and automaton conformity. The reflection reveals that AI is not inherently dehumanizing when positioned as a reflective and dialogical medium rather than as a substitute for educators. Instead, AI can enhance the process of value formation, self-awareness, and moral responsibility when integrated within a humanistic pedagogical framework. The article further emphasizes that educators remain central as pedagogical subjects and guardians of value orientation, while AI functions as a pedagogical partner that supports reflective learning. Theoretically, this study contributes to the field of philosophy of education by proposing a reflective humanistic framework as an ethical foundation for the use of AI in value and character education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study shifts the focus of religious moderation discourse from abstract interfaith conflict to subtle intra-Muslim fragmentation at the grassroots level. Centered on the case of Teratai Putih, East Jakarta, it explores the symbolic boundaries and doctrinal tensions between two mosques representing traditionalist and reformist orientations. Employing a qualitative case study through interviews, field observations, and document analysis, the research applies Nurcholish Madjid’s framework to analyze how ethical substance overrides formalistic piety in shaping communal trust. The findings reveal a critical anomaly: worshippers transcend theological divisions to contribute zakat and donations to institutions that demonstrate higher ethical credibility and transparent management. This phenomenon affirms that Ethical Credibility has surpassed Doctrinal Supremacy as the primary currency of communal trust. Conceptually, the study advances the paradigm of religious moderation by redefining legitimacy from Creed Legitimacy to Credibility Legitimacy, resonating with Madjid’s vision of an inclusive and ethically grounded Islamic community.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to reconstruct the concept of gender equality through the lens of humanist philosophy to address the inequality in relations between men and women. The main issue addressed is the existence of rigid role dichotomies in society, resulting in structural subordination for women and the psychological burden of toxic masculinity for men. The method employed is qualitative, using a library research approach through content analysis of primary humanist philosophy literature and secondary literature on contemporary gender issues. The results show that humanist philosophy provides a strong ethical foundation for viewing gender as an ontological dignity that transcends biological attributes. This analysis reveals that just gender equality can only be achieved through the harmonization of relations, where both parties are recognized as equal subjects in self-actualization. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the humanism approach is capable of shifting the paradigm from a competition for rights to an inclusive humanitarian dialogue, which ultimately serves as a foundation for creating sustainable social harmony.   Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi konsep kesetaraan gender melalui lensa filsafat humanisme guna mengatasi ketimpangan relasi antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Masalah utama yang diangkat adalah adanya dikotomi peran yang kaku dalam masyarakat yang mengakibatkan subordinasi bagi perempuan dan beban psikologis berupa toxic masculinity bagi laki-laki. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) melalui analisis konten terhadap literatur primer filsafat humanisme dan literatur sekunder terkait isu gender kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat humanisme menyediakan landasan etis yang kuat untuk memandang gender sebagai martabat ontologis yang melampaui atribut biologis. Analisis ini mengungkapkan bahwa kesetaraan gender yang berkeadilan hanya dapat dicapai melalui harmonisasi relasi, di mana kedua belah pihak diakui sebagai subjek yang setara dalam aktualisasi diri. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan humanisme mampu mengubah paradigma persaingan hak menjadi dialog kemanusiaan yang inklusif, yang pada akhirnya menjadi fondasi bagi terciptanya kerukunan sosial yang berkelanjutan.
