Abstract

Indonesia’s MSME sector remained resilient during the crisis, boosting post-crisis GDP and employment. This study focuses on MSMEs in Malang, Jember, and Surabaya, addressing the limited financial literacy and financial inclusion that hinder MSME actors from utilizing financial services effectively. Using purposive sampling, data were collected from 290 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that financial literacy significantly affects financial performance (? = 0.367, p = 0.034) and business sustainability (? = 0.242, p = 0.039). Financial inclusion also has a significant impact on financial performance (? = 0.324, p = 0.036) and business sustainability (? = 0.214, p = 0.018). Financial performance strongly influences business sustainability (? = 0.661, p = 0.000). Indirectly, financial literacy influences business sustainability through financial performance (? = 0.214, p = 0.034), as does financial inclusion (? = 0.242, p = 0.018). These findings confirm that improving financial literacy and inclusion enhances financial performance, which in turn ensures the long-term continuity of MSMEs. Interventions such as targeted financial education and improved access to financial services are vital to strengthening MSME sustainability

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test financial literacy, self-control, optimism, deliberative thinking in determining the value of financial behavior and well-being. This research is explanatory/associative by testing hypotheses. The research population is MSME actors in East Java (Sidoarjo, Malang, Pasuruhan, Gresik), with a sample of 200 MSME actors, data collection using the purposive sampling method. The results of data processing with the help of the SmartPls analysis program show that financial literacy, self-control, optimism and deliberative thinking have a significant but weak direct and indirect influence on financial behavior and financial well-being. The results of this research provide meaning that financial literacy, self-control, optimism and deliberative thinking have a strategic role in explaining why the financial behavior and well-being of MSMEs is getting better and developing. So that the understanding of MSME players regarding: financial literacy must always be developed, self-control means that when spending money must be based on careful consideration, a spirit of optimism needs to be fostered because it will give rise to confidence that the results of the efforts made will be positive, profitable and as expected. Meanwhile, deliberative thinking is a planned, clear, considered decision-making process that influences personal decision making.

Abstract

This assessment was carried out when SLB Pedagogia Maospati students in Magetan Regency practiced skills in making table and chair components using plywood lamination techniques. Training is carried out in seven stages of the production process. Twelve male and female students with three disabilities, namely mental impairment, hearing impairment and physical impairment. The training method is carried out on practice, by carrying out work examples and practicing them directly by students. After the training is complete, an assessment is carried out on students for each stage that has been trained. Assessment is carried out in two methods, namely: 1) qualitative by writing down what activities students can carry out; 2) Quantitatively, students will be assessed for their abilities on an assessment scale that has a range of Not Capable with a score of 1, and Very Capable with a score of 7. The aim of this assessment is to group students in the existing production process. This is intended so that students have the ability and can develop it into a production process that can be carried out. The conclusion of the implementation of Community Service resulted in eight Faktors that influenced SLB students to accept the knowledge transfer provided by the UKDC PkM Team in 2023.
