This study aims to investigate the communication strategies of the Gowa Regency General Election Commission in improving the political literacy of the people of Gowa Regency, with a focus on the methods used by the Gowa Regency General Election Commission to improve the political literacy of the people of Gowa Regency. This study uses qualitative research, with detailed steps such as the research approach used is the organizational communication approach. The data sources in this study are the chairman of the Gowa Regency KPU and the coordinator of social education, public relations, and human resources. The results of this study highlight that the methods used by the Gowa Regency General Election Commission in improving the political literacy of the people of Gowa Regency lie in careful planning during the process. In order to conduct political education effectively, the methods used by the Gowa Regency KPU include inter-institutional cooperation, utilizing social media, electoral workshops, and smart election houses. The implication of these findings is that the political literacy agenda must rely on cross-institutional collaboration; in other words, the presence of sectoral egos can interfere with the optimization of political literacy. For the people of Gowa Regency, as voters who have the right to choose who we will vote for, we must be fully aware that political education is very important for us to understand in facing the practical politics that exist in Gowa Regency. As a community, we must support and appreciate what the Gowa Regency KPU has been doing, which is striving to provide political understanding to the community. This includes the methods used and how the Gowa Regency KPU has attempted to overcome the challenges it faces in improving the political literacy of the people of Gowa Regency.
