Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) as a non-formal educational institution plays an important role in laying the foundation for early childhood development. However, in the digital era, this institution faces complex challenges, particularly in management based on Islamic educational values. This research aims to examine the challenges and management strategies of Islamic education in the administration of PAUD CERIA as a non-formal educational institution in the digital era. The research approach used is qualitative with a field study type. Data were collected thru interviews, observations, and documentation from the heads of early childhood education (PAUD), teachers, and parents of the students. The research results show that the main challenges faced by PAUD CERIA include the limited competence of educators in utilizing technology, limited digital facilities, and lack of internet network support. On the other hand, there is an opportunity in the form of high interest from parents and young teachers in utilizing digital media to support learning activities based on Islamic values. The strategies implemented include enhancing teachers' capacity thru Islamic-based technology training, gradually providing digital infrastructure, and integrating Islamic educational values into digital learning materials. This study concludes that the success of Islamic-based non-formal education management at PAUD CERIA depends on the collaboration between teachers, parents, and institutions in providing early childhood education that is adaptive and relevant to the times.
