ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the high academic demands that may cause students to experience academic burnout. Academic burnout is a condition of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion resulting from continuous academic pressure. This study aimed to determine the effect of perfectionism and social support on academic burnout among students at Tadulako University. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. The sample consisted of 230 students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires measuring perfectionism, social support, and academic burnout. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that perfectionism had a negative and significant effect on students' academic burnout (t = -8.059; p < 0.05). Social support had a positive and significant effect on students' academic burnout (t = 8.903; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, perfectionism and social support had a significant effect on students' academic burnout (F = 87.315; p < 0.05). This study concludes that perfectionism and social support are factors that influence academic burnout among students at Tadulako University. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya tuntutan akademik yang dapat menyebabkan mahasiswa mengalami academic burnout. Academic burnout merupakan kondisi kelelahan emosional, mental, dan fisik akibat tekanan akademik yang berlangsung secara terus-menerus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap perfeksionisme dan dukungan sosial terhadap academic burnout pada mahasiswa Universitas Tadulako. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 230 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket skala perfeksionisme, dukungan sosial, dan academic burnout. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap perfeksionisme berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap academic burnout mahasiswa (thitung = -8,059; p < 0,05). Dukungan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap academic burnout mahasiswa (thitung = 8,903; p < 0,05). Secara simultan, sikap perfeksionisme dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap academic burnout mahasiswa (Fhitung = 87,315; p < 0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sikap perfeksionisme dan dukungan sosial merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap academic burnout pada mahasiswa Universitas Tadulako.
