<![CDATA[Abstract. The educational services sector in Banyumas Regency has experienced rapid development, yet its sectoral contribution to regional poverty reduction still requires empirical testing. This study aims to analyze the impact of growth in the educational services sector on the poverty rate in Banyumas Regency during the 2020–2024 period. A quantitative method with a simple linear regression analysis approach was used, utilizing secondary time-series data obtained from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS). Hypothesis testing was conducted partially using a significance test (t-test). The results of the study indicate that the educational services sector growth variable has a t-statistic value of -3.878 with a significance level of 0.030 (< 0.05). This research proves that the growth of the educational services sector partially has a significant and negative effect on the poverty rate. An increase in economic performance within the education sector is proven effective in reducing the poverty percentage in Banyumas Regency. Theoretically, this growth creates a local multiplier effect through labor absorption and micro-businesses around educational institutions, as well as strengthening the quality of human capital. The policy implication of this research highlights the importance for the local government to continuously support the expansion and integration of the education sector with the economic sector to achieve a more inclusive poverty reduction. Abstrak. Sektor jasa pendidikan di Kabupaten Banyumas mengalami perkembangan pesat, namun kontribusinya secara sektoral terhadap penurunan kemiskinan daerah masih memerlukan pengujian empiris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan sektor jasa pendidikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Kabupaten Banyumas pada periode 2020–2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis regresi linear sederhana berbasis data sekunder runtun waktu (time series) yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan secara parsial menggunakan uji signifikansi (Uji t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pertumbuhan sektor jasa pendidikan memiliki nilai t-hitung sebesar -3,878 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,030 (< 0,05). Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pertumbuhan sektor jasa pendidikan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan dengan arah negatif terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Peningkatan performa ekonomi pada sektor pendidikan terbukti efektif menurunkan persentase kemiskinan di Kabupaten Banyumas. Secara teoretis, pertumbuhan ini menciptakan multiplier effect lokal melalui penyerapan tenaga kerja dan usaha mikro di sekitar institusi pendidikan, serta memperkuat kualitas modal manusia (human capital). Implikasi kebijakan dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pemerintah daerah untuk terus mendukung ekspansi dan integrasi sektor pendidikan dengan sektor ekonomi agar tercipta penurunan kemiskinan yang lebih inklusif.]]>
