Abstract

This research paper will explain the integration of science and religious knowledge, particularly Islamic knowledge. Integration of science and Islam is an effort to unite the values โ€‹โ€‹of revelation with rational-empirical knowledge so that science is not merely secular but also directed towards the welfare of humanity. The concept of Islamization of science emphasizes the importance of purifying science from paradigms that conflict with monotheism and restructuring it within the framework of Islamic values. Meanwhile, the integration-interconnection approach focuses on dialogue and cooperation between religious and general sciences to complement each other. This integration is not intended to forcibly blend disciplines, but rather to build a harmonious relationship so that science can address the challenges of the times without losing its spiritual orientation. Thus, the integration of science and Islam is an important foundation for creating a just, sustainable, and welfare-oriented civilization.
