Abstract

ABSTRACT Bullying remains a frequent problem in elementary school environments and has negative impacts on students’ psychological, emotional, and social development. This study aims to analyze students’ understanding of akhlak (moral character) material and its relationship with the formation of anti-bullying behavior in elementary school students as interconnected variables. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach involving 19 students selected through saturated sampling. The research instrument was a four-point Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for content validity through expert judgment and for reliability to ensure data consistency, while the data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results show that students’ understanding of akhlak is in the good category, with rejection of bullying reaching 94%. These findings indicate a positive relationship tendency, meaning that the better the students’ understanding of akhlak, the stronger their moral and social rejection of bullying behavior. Akhlak understanding is not only cognitive in nature but also serves as an internalized foundation for anti-bullying behavior among students. Therefore, strengthening akhlak education serves as a preventive strategy in creating a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school culture. ABSTRAK Bullying masih menjadi permasalahan yang sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah dasar dan berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan psikologis, emosional, serta interaksi sosial siswa, sehingga diperlukan upaya preventif berbasis penguatan nilai moral sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman materi akhlak dan hubungannya dengan perilaku anti-bullying siswa sekolah dasar sebagai keterkaitan variabel kognitif dan perilaku sosial. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan 19 siswa sebagai subjek melalui teknik sampling jenuh, menggunakan angket skala Likert empat pilihan yang telah diuji validitas isi melalui expert judgment dan reliabilitasnya, serta dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman akhlak siswa tergolong baik, dengan tingkat penolakan terhadap bullying mencapai 94%, yang mengindikasikan adanya kecenderungan hubungan positif antara pemahaman akhlak dan perilaku anti-bullying. Semakin baik pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai akhlak, semakin kuat pula sikap penolakan mereka terhadap bullying secara moral dan sosial. Dengan demikian, pemahaman akhlak tidak hanya bersifat kognitif, tetapi telah terinternalisasi dalam perilaku siswa, sehingga penguatan pembelajaran akhlak berperan penting sebagai strategi preventif dalam menciptakan budaya sekolah yang aman, inklusif, dan bebas bullying.
