<![CDATA[Abstract: Statistics Textbook Development Approach Based Tutorial. Statistics regarded as one of the subjects that are considered difficult by most students. The reason is the difficulty of statistics course (1) directly related to the formulas as well as mathematics and physics courses (2) Statistics have formulas that are not commonly known and have symbols that are rarely seen (3) is a statistical subjects which have hypotheses and statistical analysis are used to test the truth of the hypothesis (4) The course is also seen as statistically difficult subjects because they hear stories of people who had attended the course. Addressing these reasons it is necessary to simplify the concept and change the views of students on the course by developing Statistics Textbook Tutorial-Based Approach (BASBPT). The approach is based on the presentation of the material do like giving a workshop or training. Keywords: development of textbooks, tutorial approach Abstract: Pengembangan Buku Ajar Statistik Berbasis Pendekatan Tutorial. Statistik dianggap sebagai salah satu mata kuliah yang dianggap sulit oleh sebagian besar mahasiswa. Alasan sulitnya mata kuliah statistik adalah (1) berhubungan langsung dengan rumus-rumus seperti halnya mata kuliah matematika dan fisika (2) Statistik memiliki rumus-rumus yang tidak lazim dikenal dan memiliki simbol-simbol yang jarang di lihat (3) statistik adalah mata kuliah yang memiliki hipotesis-hipotesis dan analisis statistik digunakan untuk menguji kebenaran dari hipotesis tersebut (4) Mata kuliah statistik juga dipandang sebagai mata kuliah yang sulit karena mendengar cerita dari orang-orang yang pernah mengikuti mata kuliah tersebut. Menyikapi alasan-alasan tersebut maka diperlukan konsep menyederhanakan dan merubah pandangan-pandangan mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah statistik dengan mengembangkan Buku Ajar Statistik Berbasis Pendekatan Tutorial (BASBPT).
