Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai sistem antrian di persimpangan Tugu Adipura Kota Tangerang. Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah keberadaan atau posisi strategis persimpangan Tugu Adipura Kota Tangerang yang menjadi lokasi padat kendaraan. Persimpangan ini sangat strategis karena dekat dengan pusat bisnis Tangerang City, pusat pendidikan Cikokol, Pusat Pemerintahan Kota Tangerang, Wisata Situ Cipondoh, dan Kantor Imigrasi. Menurut pengamatan yang dilakukan, pada pagi hari, arah menuju pusat pendidikan Cikokol dan pusat bisnis Tangerang City sangat ramai karena di daerah tersebut terdapat beberapa sekolah negeri dan swasta, perguruan tinggi, dan perkantoran. Sebaliknya, arah menuju kantor imigrasi dan Wisata Situ Cipondoh tergolong lengang. Pada sore hari, arah menuju pusat pendidikan Cikokol dan pusat bisnis Tangerang City tergolong agak sepi, sementara arah menuju kantor imigrasi dan Wisata Situ Cipondoh sangat ramai karena dekat dengan pemukiman penduduk atau perumahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan jumlah kendaraan ideal, waktu ideal kendaraan untuk menunggu, dan rata-rata jumlah kendaraan dalam sistem antrian. Metode yang digunakan adalah teori antrian M/M/1 dengan asumsi kedatangan kendaraan berdistribusi Poisson dan waktu layanan lampu lalu lintas diasumsikan berdistribusi eksponensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hitungan rata-rata waktu tunggu kendaraan pada jalur atau ruas jalan cukup dapat diterima kaena tidak terlalu memakan waktu. Abstract. This research discusses the queuing system at the Adipura Monument crossing in Tangerang City. The background to this research is that the Adipura Monument Crossing in Tangerang City is a vehicle-dense location, as it is located in a strategic location in Tangerang City. This crossing is strategic since it is close to the Tangerang City business center, Cikokol Education Center (CEC), Tangerang City Government Center, Cipondoh Lake, and Immigration Office. According to observations, in the morning, the direction to the CEC and the Tangerang City Business Center (TCBC) is quite busy because there are several public and private schools, universities, and offices. Meanwhile, the direction to Cipondoh Lake and the immigration office is relatively quiet. In the afternoon, the direction to the CEC and TCBC is relatively quiet, whereas the direction to Cipondoh Lake and the immigration office is very busy. The direction of the vehicle towards the immigration office and Cipondoh Lake is busy because it is close to residential areas or housing. The aim of this research is to determine the ideal number of vehicles, time for vehicles to wait, and the average number of vehicles in the queuing system. The method used in this research is M/M/1 queuing theory with the assumption that vehicle arrivals are Poisson-distributed and traffic light service times are assumed to be exponentially distributed. The research results indicate that the average vehicle waiting time on a route or road section is quite acceptable, as it does not consume excessive time.
