Abstract

To speed up IT infrastructure training for employees in the information technology department, PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 Belawan Branch needs to change its current conventional training management to information technology based. This is needed because the large number of employees and large areas require efficiency in organizing training. The proposed solution is the development of a web-based information system using PHP and MySQL to make it easier to manage training and access information for organizing staff wherever they are. Web-based IT Infrastructure Training uses a PHP program with a MySQL Database so it is hoped that this information system can help the Administration Section staff to easily access information about training from anywhere and at any time using internet facilities

Abstract

The Pematang Serai Village Office is a government institution responsible for addressing various issues in the village, including providing aid to the community. The office frequently organizes social programs, such as distributing financial aid to underprivileged residents. However, in managing these funds, problems often arise, such as aid recipients not being properly targeted and the manual process of collecting the required documentation. Additionally, when creating reports, staff must manually go through the files one by one. Each condition selected will have two possible outcomes: fulfilled or not fulfilled. If x conditions are selected, there will be N possible outcomes, calculated as N = 2^n. The rule above shows that columns 17 through 64 no longer affect the decision to provide aid, so those columns can be removed. This writing aims to develop an application that simplifies the process of calculating beneficiaries and distributing aid in Pematang Serai Village, making aid management more organized. The development method used is the Decision Table Method, with system requirements analysis conducted through observation and interviews. The system design is documented using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The results of this research are implemented in a web-based system, which will make the management of financial aid more effective. .

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a reporting system application for field workers at Metro Interior, a company specializing in interior design. In its operations, Metro Interior faces challenges in efficiently monitoring and managing field workers' activities, which affects report delays, data accuracy, and suboptimal coordination. The designed application will serve as a solution to these issues by providing a platform that allows field workers to create reports directly from the work site. The main features of this application include real-time reporting, task management, project progress tracking, and data collection related to field activities. The application development methodology involves user needs analysis, system design, software development, and system testing. The application is designed using the latest technology to support both mobile and desktop devices, enhancing accessibility for users both in the field and in the office. The expected outcome of this research is to improve reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and coordination between field workers and management teams at Metro Interior. With the implementation of this application, Metro Interior will be able to better monitor and manage projects, reduce administrative errors, and accelerate data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

Education in the digital era demands the application of innovative learning methods to enhance effectiveness and student engagement. This research aims to design the workflow of an e-learning application that integrates the blended learning model, with a focus on SMA Nurcahaya as a case study. The blended learning model combines face-to-face instruction with online learning, providing flexibility in the teaching and learning process and leveraging technology to enhance the student learning experience. The research methodology includes needs analysis, system design, and e-learning development. Needs analysis was conducted through surveys and interviews with teachers and students to identify specific needs and challenges. Based on these findings, the design and development of the e-learning system incorporated features such as interactive learning materials, discussion forums, online quizzes, and progress tracking. The design process utilized the latest technology to ensure optimal performance and accessibility. The design was evaluated by assessing its effectiveness in meeting the needs of SMA Nurcahaya and its ability to support the teaching and learning process while increasing student engagement. The evaluation results indicated that this e-learning design is effective in boosting learning motivation and facilitating access to learning materials. The research concludes that an e-learning design with a blended learning model can be an effective solution for improving the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

− News is current information selected by journalists for publication in digital electronic media. News also refers to reports of events deemed to attract the attention of the mass media public. In the process of selecting the main news, the news must meet specific criteria determined by the coverage coordinator. These criteria help to determine which news will be chosen as the main news. Information related to news criteria can be stored in a database, making the evaluation and selection process easier compared to using hardcopy. Additionally, selecting the main news can be carried out using methods such as Group Algorithm Programming Analysis, along with other methods for comparison to achieve optimal results. Decision-making is a crucial stage underlying human activity both individually and collectively. The function of decision-making is futuristic, meaning it relates to the future and has long-lasting effects. Therefore, applications using the Group Algorithm Programming Analysis method can assist in the process of selecting the main news in online media
