Abstract

This study is driven by the epistemological crisis-consequence dichotomy in Islamic education, which separates religious knowledge from modern science. Objectives of the main study: This is for analyzing the Pondok strategy of Al-Khoirot Islamic Boarding School in balancing mastery of tafaqquh fiddin with contemporary development competence, as well as the mechanism for implementing a synergistic curriculum in line with the demands of the 21st century. The methods applied are qualitative, with a case study design, in which data are collected through observation, participatory in-depth interviews, and study documentation, which are then triangulated. Research results show that Al-Khoirot is implementing an integrative curriculum model, systemic in a dual system, that requires all students to follow both formal and religious paths simultaneously. The findings key shows existence acceleration; the yellow book teaching level is high on the ladder, medium; uses literature bilingual jurisprudence (Arabic-English); and the establishment of the English Club as a laboratory for language daily. This strategy succeed synergize depth of the tradition of the Salaf with global competence through synchronization tight schedule, and centralized management centralized education.
