Abstract

Hypertension is a health problem that is increasingly found among adolescents due to low levels of knowledge and lack of physical activity. This condition increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases in the future. This community service activity aims to analyze educational interventions on knowledge and physical activity in preventing hypertension among adolescents. The implementation method was carried out through health education sessions, delivery of educational materials, and simple physical activity practices conducted directly with students at MAN 2 Setu Bekasi. Evaluation was conducted using pretest and posttest to measure knowledge levels, as well as observation of participation in physical activities. The results showed an improvement in adolescents' knowledge about hypertension and increased awareness of engaging in physical activity as a preventive effort. In addition, participants demonstrated a positive response to the educational activities provided. This activity proves that structured and participatory education is effective in improving knowledge and promoting healthy behavior among adolescents.
