<![CDATA[ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini berfokus pada penguraian unsur-unsur stilistika dalam novel The Architecture of Love yang ditulis oleh Ika Natassa dan pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMK. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan stilistika. Sumber data berasal dari novel The Architecture of Love karya Ika Natassa dan wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia serta siswa SMK. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik membaca, mencatat, dan wawancara, selanjutnya dianalisis dalam beberapa tahap yaitu reduksi data, klasifikasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel The Architecture of Love mengandung berbagai unsur stilistika yang meliputi diksi, gaya bahasa, dan citraan. Dalam hal diksi, ditemukan adanya penggunaan kata konkret, makna konotatif, sapaan dengan nama, diksi serapan, dan bahasa vulgar. Pada aspek gaya bahasa, teridentifikasi gaya bahasa retoris dan gaya bahasa kiasan. Di sisi lain, pada citraan terdapat citraan yang melibatkan penglihatan, pendengaran, gerak, penciuman, pengecapan, dan perabaan. Penggunaan unsur-unsur stilistika tersebut berperan untuk memperkuat penggambaran karakter tokoh, menciptakan suasana, memperjelas konflik, dan menambah nilai estetika dalam novel. Selain itu, wawancara juga menunjukkan bahwa novel ini berhubungan erat dengan penggunaan sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMK karena bahasanya yang komunikatif, tema yang relevan dengan kehidupan remaja, serta mendukung proses pembelajaran sastra dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama pada Capaian Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Fase F. Dengan begitu, novel The Architecture of Love tidak hanya memiliki keindahan sebagai karya sastra, tetapi juga menawarkan potensi pendidikan dalam pengajaran sastra di SMK. KATA KUNCI: stilistika; novel; diksi; gaya bahasa; citraan; materi ajar sastra. > A STYLISTIC ANALYSIS OF IKA NATASSA’S NOVEL THE ARCHITECTURE OF LOVE AND ITS RELEVANCE AS LITERARY TEACHING MATERIAL IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS ABSTRACT: This study focuses on analyzing the stylistic elements in the novel The Architecture of Love by Ika Natassa and their use as teaching materials for literature in vocational high schools. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a stylistic approach. The data sources include Ika Natassa’s novel The Architecture of Love and interviews with Indonesian language teachers and vocational high school students. Data collection was conducted through reading, note-taking, and interviews, followed by analysis in several stages: data reduction, data classification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the novel The Architecture of Love contains various stylistic elements, including diction, style, and imagery. Regarding diction, the study identified the use of concrete words, connotative meanings, direct address by name, loanwords, and vulgar language. In terms of writing style, rhetorical and figurative styles were identified. On the other hand, the imagery includes visual, auditory, kinetic, olfactory, gustatory, and tactile imagery. The use of these stylistic elements serves to strengthen the characterization of the protagonists, create atmosphere, clarify conflict, and enhance the aesthetic value of the novel. Furthermore, the interview results indicate that this novel is suitable for use as a literature teaching resource in vocational high schools because it features accessible language, themes that resonate with the lives of teenagers, and supports literature instruction under the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in the Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes for Phase F. Thus, the novel The Architecture of Love not only possesses aesthetic value as a literary work but also holds pedagogical potential for literature instruction in vocational high schools.
