Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure and firm size on firm value in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2023 period. Firm value is measured using market-based indicators, while capital structure is represented by leverage ratios and firm size is measured by the natural logarithm of total assets. The study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The research sample consists of 36 technology sector companies selected through purposive sampling based on the availability and completeness of data throughout the observation period. The results indicate that capital structure and firm size have a positive and significant effect on firm value, both individually and simultaneously. These findings suggest that efficient management of funding structures and larger firm scale can enhance investor confidence and strengthen market valuation of technology companies. Therefore, capital structure and firm size are strategic factors in increasing firm value in the capital market, particularly in the technology sector, which is characterized by relatively high growth and risk levels.
