Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian minuman isotonik terhadap respon anti stress ayam broiler saat transportasi. Ternak percobaan yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini , ayam broiler jantan sebanyak 75 ekor strain lohman umur 21 hari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen, menggunakan rancangan RAL( Rancangan acak lengkap) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Setiap ulangan terdiri dari 5 ekor ayam broiler. Perlakuan pertama yaitu (1) P0 kontrol pemberian air minum biasa (2) P1 pemberian air gula merah (3) P2 pemberian air garam 2g/l (4)P3 pemberian air kelapa (1:4) (5) P4 pemberian minuman isotonik , setiap perlakuan diberikan dengan dosis 20-50 ml. Analisis data pada riset ini menggunakan analisis of variance (ANOVA). Parameter yang diukur yaitu bobot organ pencernaan: Ventrikulus, proventikulus, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, caeca. Rata-rata bobot organ pencernaan yaitu 17,75  gram. Hasil penelitian  menunjukan pemberian minuman isotonik berbasis air kelapa tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot organ pencernaan ayam broiler pasca transportasi P>0,05. Pemberian minuman isotonik tidak memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap berat organ pencernaan ayam broiler.Kata Kunci : minuman isotonik, ayam broiler. THE EFFECT OF PROVIDING ISOTONIC DRINKS ON THE WEIGHT OF BROILER DIGESTIVE ORGANS POST-TRANSPORTATION AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of giving isotonic drinks on the anti-stress response of broiler chickens during transportation. The experimental livestock used for this study were 75 male broiler chickens of the Lohman strain aged 21 days. The research method used was the experimental method, using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Each replication consisted of 5 broiler chickens. The first treatment was (1) P0 control given regular drinking water (2) P1 given brown sugar water (3) P2 given 2g/l salt water (4) P3 given coconut water (1:4) (5) P4 given isotonic drinks, each treatment was given at a dose of 20-50 ml. Data analysis in this study used analysis of variance (ANOVA). The parameters measured were the weight of the digestive organs: Ventriculus, proventriculus, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, caeca. The average weight of the digestive organs was 17.75 grams. The results of the study showed that the administration of coconut water-based isotonic drinks had no significant effect on the weight of the digestive organs of broiler chickens after transportation (P>0.05). The administration of isotonic drinks did not have a significant impact on the weight of the digestive organs of broiler chickens. Keywords: isotonic drinks, broiler chickens
