Abstract

Distribution of gallon water is one of the important activities in the operation of refill water depots because it isi directly related to fulfilling customer needs. An irregular distribution process can result in higher shipping costs and less efficient vehicle use. This research was conducted at the Om Nyong Refill Water Depot and the Gloria Water Depot in the Tondano area with the aim of determining the allocation of gallon water distribution using the North West Corner (NWC) method. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with an operations research approach to the transportation model. Research data was obtained through direct observation and interviews with depot owners. The data used included the number of galllons supplied, the number of customer requests, and distribution costs to each destination. The research results showed that the North West Corner (NWC) method can assist in allocasting gallon water distribution according to available supply and demand capacity. Based on the calculation results, the distribution costs for the Om Nyong Refill Water Depot Rp 1,612,000 and the Gloria Water Depot Rp 352,000, bringing the total distribution costs to Rp 1,964,000/week. This method makes the distribution process more organized and makes it easier for the depot to determine the number of deliveries to customers. Distribusi air galon merupakan salah satu kegiatan penting dalam operasional depot air isi ulang karena berhubungan langsung dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan pelanggan. Proses distribusi yang kurang teratur dapat menyebabkan biaya pengiriman menjadi lebih besar dan penggunaan kendaraan menjadi kurang efisien. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Depot Air Isi Ulang Om Nyong dan Depot Air Gloria yang berada di wilayah Tondano dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengalokasian distribusi air galon menggunakan metode North West Corner (NWC). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan riset operasi pada model transportasi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan pemilik depot. Data yang digunakan meliputi jumlah pasokan galon, junlah permintaan pelanggan, dan biaya distribusi ke setiap lokasi tujuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode North West Corner (NWC) mampu membantu proses pengalokasian distribusi air galon sesuai kapasitas supply dan demand yang tersedia. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh biaya distribusi Depot Air Isi Ulang Om Nyong sebesar Rp 1.612.000 dan Depot Air Gloria sebesar Rp 352.000, sehingga total keseluruhan biaya distribusi mencapai Rp 1.964.00/minggu. Dengan adanya metode ini, proses distribusi menjadi lebih teratur dan mempermudah depot dalam menentukan jumlah pengiriman kepada pelanggan.

Abstract

The 'Food and Drink' restaurant is one of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that is growing in Tondano. In the restaurant business, price issues and limited raw materials for production also affect sales which can cause profits to be less than optimal. This study was conducted with the aim of formulating a solution to the problem of optimizing profits in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from the 'Food and Drink' restaurant business. The simplex method is a way to solve linear programming problems where the repetition of mathematical procedures is carried out to test corner points until an optimal solution is found. The data used in this study is the data obtained from the results of interviews with the 'Food and Drink' restaurant business. Based on research through the simplex method linear programming, the results of the optimization calculation are that the 'Food and Drink' restaurant must increase the number of geprek chicken production by 1 portion and lalapan chicken by 12 portions per day. so that a maximum profit of Rp 2,652,000.00 is obtained.

Abstract

Competition in the culinary business sector requires entrepreneurs to manage their resources optimally in order to increase revenue. Neo Cafe, a business operating in the food and beverage industry, faces challenges in determining the optimal combination of menu sales due to limitations in cooking time, service time, and the availability of supporting materials. This study aims to analyze sales optimization at Neo Cafe using Linear Programming with the Simplex method. A quantitative approach is employed by formulating an objective function to maximize revenue, along with constraints that reflect the operational conditions of Neo Cafe. Data were obtained through observation of the production and sales processes of three main menu items: chicken rice, French fries, and butterscotch coffee. The analysis results indicate that the optimal solution is achieved by producing 100 servings of butterscotch coffee per day, while the other menu items are not produced. This production combination generates a maximum daily revenue of IDR 1,800,000 while satisfying all defined constraints. The findings demonstrate that the application of the Simplex method can provide optimal solutions for production and sales decision-making, thereby contributing to improved operational efficiency and increased business revenue.

Abstract

The use of vape among teenagers and young adults has increased in recent years and is influenced by social environments. This study aimed to analyze the influence of social interaction on the spread of vape use using the Susceptible, Exposed, Infected, Recovered (SEIR) model. This research used a quantitative approach with an epidemiological mathematical modeling method. Data were collected through an online survey using Google Forms involving young people in Tondano from March 12, 2026 to May 10, 2026. The study sample consisted of 54 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted by calculating the SEIR model parameters based on survey results, followed by simulation using RStudio to observe the dynamics of population changes in each group. The results showed that social interaction had a significant influence on the spread of vape use. The β parameter value of 0.444 indicated the influence of social interaction on susceptible individuals. The α parameter value of 0.923 showed that individuals who became interested in vape had a high probability of becoming active users, while the γ parameter value of 0.541 indicated that some active users were able to stop using vape. Simulation results demonstrated that the number of active vape users increased over time due to social environmental influences. This study shows that the SEIR model can be applied to analyze the spread of social behavior, particularly vape use behavior.

Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial menyebabkan penyebaran informasi dan konten digital berlangsung sangat cepat, termasuk di kalangan mahasiswa. Viralitas konten digital terjadi ketika suatu informasi dibagikan secara berulang oleh pengguna media sosial sehingga menjangkau banyak individu dalam waktu tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika viralitas konten digital di kalangan mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika menggunakan model Susceptible–Infected–Recovered (SIR). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis pemodelan matematika dengan data yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang aktif menggunakan media sosial. Populasi dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok, yaitu Susceptible (S), Infected (I), dan Recovered (R). Model matematika yang digunakan dinyatakan sebagai , dan . Berdasarkan hasil normalisasi data diperoleh kondisi awal S = 0.39, I = 0.26 dan R = 0.35 dengan parameter dan. Simulasi numerik dilakukan menggunakan software R Studio untuk melihat perubahan populasi dari waktu ke waktu. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa kelompok Susceptible mengalami penurunan, kelompok Infected meningkat pada tahap awal kemudian menurun secara perlahan, sedangkan kelompok Recovered mengalami peningkatan secara bertahap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa viralitas konten digital bersifat sementara karena dipengaruhi oleh perubahan minat pengguna media sosial terhadap suatu konten.
