Abstract

Abtrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) pada materi peluang suatu kejadian di kelas VIIIH SMP YPPK Santu Paulus Abepura. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan subjek 30 peserta didik yang dipilih melalui pertimbangan guru matematika. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis, lembar observasi sikap sosial peserta didik, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menghitung skor akhir, rata-rata, dan persentase keterlaksanaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran CRH dapat diterapkan dengan sangat baik melalui tahapan penyajian materi, pembagian kelompok heterogen, permainan, dan pemberian penghargaan. Sikap sosial peserta didik memperoleh persentase 92,2% dengan kategori sangat baik, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 94,4% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan nilai rata-rata post-test peserta didik mencapai 77,2 dengan kategori cukup serta melampaui Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum sekolah. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa CRH berpotensi menciptakan suasana belajar matematika yang lebih aktif, menyenangkan, dan kolaboratif, meskipun guru perlu mengantisipasi keterbatasan waktu, ruang kelas, serta kebingungan peserta didik pada awal permainan. Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of the Course Review Horay (CRH) cooperative learning model in teaching probability of an event to class VIIIH students of SMP YPPK Santu Paulus Abepura. The study employed a descriptive design involving 30 students selected based on the mathematics teacher's consideration. Data were collected through written tests, student social attitude observation sheets, and observation sheets of learning model implementation. The data were analyzed descriptively by calculating final scores, means, and implementation percentages. The findings indicate that the CRH model was implemented very well through the stages of material presentation, heterogeneous group formation, game-based review, and group reward. Students' social attitudes reached 92.2%, categorized as very good; learning implementation reached 94.4%, categorized as very good; and the students' post-test mean score reached 77.2, categorized as sufficient and exceeding the school's minimum mastery criterion. These findings suggest that CRH has the potential to create more active, enjoyable, and collaborative mathematics learning, although teachers should anticipate time constraints, limited classroom space, and students' initial confusion during game-based activities. Abstract

Abtrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dalam menyelesaikan soal terbuka (open-ended problem) pada materi lingkaran di SMP Negeri Hubakma Kabupaten Yalimo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek enam peserta didik kelas VIII yang dipilih secara purposif berdasarkan hasil tes awal, yaitu dua subjek kategori tinggi, dua subjek kategori sedang, dan dua subjek kategori rendah. Instrumen penelitian meliputi peneliti sebagai instrumen utama, tes berpikir kreatif matematis, pedoman wawancara, observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, serta pengecekan keabsahan melalui perpanjangan pengamatan, peningkatan ketekunan, dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek kategori tinggi mampu memunculkan indikator kefasihan, keluwesan, keaslian, dan elaborasi meskipun masih ditemukan kekeliruan kecil pada hasil akhir. Subjek kategori sedang mampu memunculkan kefasihan dan keluwesan, tetapi keaslian serta elaborasi belum konsisten. Subjek kategori rendah terutama memperlihatkan kefasihan, sedangkan keluwesan, keaslian, dan elaborasi belum berkembang secara memadai. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa soal terbuka pada materi lingkaran dapat digunakan untuk memetakan profil berpikir kreatif matematis sekaligus menunjukkan perlunya pembelajaran yang lebih sering memberi ruang bagi peserta didik untuk menemukan lebih dari satu strategi penyelesaian. Abstract: This study aims to describe students' creative mathematical thinking ability in the high, moderate, and low categories when solving open-ended problems on circle material at SMP Negeri Hubakma, Yalimo Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving six eighth-grade students selected purposively based on an initial test: two students in the high category, two in the moderate category, and two in the low category. The instruments consisted of the researcher as the main instrument, a creative mathematical thinking test, interview guidelines, observation, and field notes. The data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing, and validity checking through prolonged observation, increased persistence, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that students in the high category were able to demonstrate fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, although minor computational errors were still found. Students in the moderate category demonstrated fluency and flexibility, but originality and elaboration were not yet consistent. Students in the low category mainly demonstrated fluency, while flexibility, originality, and elaboration were not sufficiently developed. These findings suggest that open-ended circle problems can be used to map students' creative mathematical thinking profiles and highlight the need for mathematics instruction that provides more opportunities for students to develop multiple solution strategies. Abstract

Abstract: This article transforms a thesis-based draft into a journal article on the use of Rumah Kaki Seribu as an ethnomathematics medium for contextual mathematics learning in grade IV elementary school. The study is grounded in the problem that plane-geometry concepts are often taught abstractly, while learners in Papua Barat live close to cultural artifacts that contain geometric patterns, structures, and spatial relations. Using a qualitative conceptual approach, the article reviews relevant literature, analyzes the mathematical potential of the Arfak traditional house, and reconstructs a contextual learning design based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The analysis shows that the roof, wall, floor pattern, stairs, and supporting poles of Rumah Kaki Seribu can be linked with plane shapes, measurement, symmetry, pattern, and early spatial reasoning. The CTL framework enables teachers to guide students from observation of local objects to mathematical abstraction through questioning, inquiry, modeling, learning community, reflection, and authentic assessment. The article argues that culturally rooted media can strengthen conceptual understanding, numeracy literacy, learning motivation, and students' appreciation of local identity. This paper recommends that elementary teachers in Papua Barat integrate Rumah Kaki Seribu into classroom activities, local projects, and concrete-to-abstract learning sequences while maintaining accuracy of mathematical concepts and respect for cultural meaning. Keywords: Ethnomathematics; Rumah Kaki Seribu; Contextual Teaching and Learning; plane geometry; elementary mathematics; Papua Barat   Abstrak: Artikel ini merekonstruksi draf berbasis tesis menjadi naskah artikel jurnal tentang penggunaan Rumah Kaki Seribu sebagai media etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran matematika kontekstual kelas IV sekolah dasar. Kajian ini bertolak dari persoalan bahwa konsep bangun datar masih sering diajarkan secara abstrak, padahal peserta didik di Papua Barat hidup dekat dengan artefak budaya yang memuat pola geometris, struktur ruang, dan relasi bentuk. Dengan pendekatan konseptual kualitatif, artikel ini menelaah literatur yang relevan, menganalisis potensi matematis rumah tradisional masyarakat Arfak, dan menyusun ulang desain pembelajaran berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa bagian atap, dinding, lantai, tangga, dan tiang penyangga Rumah Kaki Seribu dapat dikaitkan dengan bentuk bangun datar, pengukuran, simetri, pola, dan penalaran spasial awal. Kerangka CTL membantu guru membimbing peserta didik dari pengamatan objek budaya menuju abstraksi matematika melalui kegiatan bertanya, menemukan, pemodelan, masyarakat belajar, refleksi, dan penilaian autentik. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa media berbasis budaya lokal berpotensi memperkuat pemahaman konsep, literasi numerasi, motivasi belajar, dan apresiasi peserta didik terhadap identitas budaya daerah. Rekomendasi utama artikel ini adalah guru sekolah dasar di Papua Barat dapat mengintegrasikan Rumah Kaki Seribu dalam aktivitas kelas, proyek lokal, dan tahapan belajar konkret menuju abstrak dengan tetap menjaga ketepatan konsep matematika serta penghormatan terhadap makna budaya..
