<![CDATA[ABSTRAK: Ibu mertua merupakan bagian dari lingkungan terdekat dengan ibu menyusui dan bayi. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah 1) Untuk melihat pengaruh antara dukungan informasional dan dukungan penilaian/bimbingan. 2) Dukungan instrumental dan dukungan emosional ibu mertua serta karakteristik ibu terhadap perilaku pemberian ASI Eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pejuang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain crossectional terhadap 121 responden yang memiliki bayi berusia 6-12 bulan. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) Hasil akhir analisis multivariat dengan analisis regresi logistik, variabel sikap terhadap ASI Eksklusif dan dukungan informasional ibu mertua memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Variabel sikap terhadap ASI Eksklusif paling berpengaruh (OR 3,325) yang berarti bahwa responden yang bersikap positif terhadap ASI Eksklusif memiliki kemungkinan menyusui Eksklusif 3 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan responden yang bersikap negatif terhadap ASI Eksklusif. 2) Hasil analisis multivariat untuk dukungan, jenis dukungan mertua yang paling berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pemberian ASI Eksklusif adalah dukungan informasional. Ibu yang mendapat dukungan informasional dari ibu mertuanya memiliki kemungkinan menyusui Eksklusif sebesar 3 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ibu yang tidak mendapat dukungan informasional dari ibu mertua.Kata kunci: ASI Eksklusif, dukungan ibu mertua ABSTRACT: Mother-in-law is a part of the neighborhood closest to breastfeeding mothers and babies.
