Pemanfaatan teknologi digital menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama dalam mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan lokasi penelitian di SDIT Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap tiga guru yang mewakili kelas II, IV, dan VI, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital dimanfaatkan melalui penggunaan proyektor, laptop, video pembelajaran, presentasi digital, dan aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan teknologi tersebut berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan partisipasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan melalui meningkatnya perhatian terhadap materi, keaktifan dalam bertanya, keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, serta keterlibatan dalam diskusi kelas. Selain itu, dukungan fasilitas sekolah dan pelatihan bagi guru turut mendukung integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital berperan sebagai instrumen pedagogis yang mendukung pembelajaran IPS yang lebih interaktif, partisipatif, dan sejalan dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka.The integration of digital technology has become an essential component of the Merdeka Curriculum implementation, particularly in fostering students’ active engagement during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the role of digital technology in enhancing student participation in Social Studies learning at the elementary school level. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with the research conducted at SDIT Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with three classroom teachers representing grades II, IV, and VI and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that digital technology is utilized through projectors, laptops, instructional videos, digital presentations, and learning-support applications. The use of these technologies contributes to increased student participation, as reflected in greater attention to learning materials, higher levels of questioning, increased confidence in expressing opinions, and more active involvement in classroom discussions. In addition, school facilities and teacher training support the effective integration of technology into learning activities. These findings indicate that digital technology serves as a pedagogical instrument that promotes more interactive and participatory Social Studies learning in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum
